Detaining me at airport shows Mamata Banerjee’s anti-Hindu face: BJP spokie Bagga

Following West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s announcement of restricting Durga idol immersion because of Muharram, BJP Delhi spokesperson Tajinder Bagga had set out a heroic challenge that he will personally go to Bengal and take part in the idol immersion:

However, on the day of immersion, when Bagga arrived at the Kolkata airport, he tweeted that he was detained by West Bengal Police and not allowed to enter the city. He said they the Police had orders from the CM’s office that they cannot let him enter the city:

They did not provide any reason why he could not be allowed in the city while as a citizen of India he can move around freely, without any restrictions, to any part of India.

Bagga further said that this exposed the anti-Hindu face of the West Bengal CM and also proves that she was frustrated with the whole turn of events:

Twitterati came out in support of Bagga and said while Rohingyas, who have been accused of carrying out terrorist activities, are welcome in Bengal, an Indian citizen has to to be ‘deported’ from Bengal.

Of late, Mamata Banerjee has been treating BJP as the main opposition party in the state, as the communist parties have been on decline while the BJP has been on a rise.
