In recent days Indigo airlines has managed to generate news for the wrong reasons.
A few days ago a shocking video had emerged which showed an Indigo staffer throttling a passenger over a supposed disagreement. As a result the airline was condemned from all quarters, and it has since then apologised for the incidence.
Now it seems that the airline is failing to shrug off the bad press after none other than pop historian cum Nehru fan Ramachandra Guha, took to twitter on Sunday to complain against it:
I don’t normally use twitter as a means of consumer redressal, but since the same airline misbehaved thrice in a single week I had to. Friends and family also confirm that rudeness has become a habit with @IndiGo6E

It was amply clear that the pop historian wasn’t very happy with the airline which as per his claim, has become a serial offender when it comes to being rude.
But rather than showing solidarity with Guha, various twitter users decided to channel their inner comedian by coming up with hilarious responses, some of which also mocked his ideological stance:
Sir, when there are so many hungry people who couldn’t even afford a single meal a day, being a liberal and champion of the poor how can you spend so much on air travel? https://t.co/vuAvtMRxhI

Did you tell them Nehru invented airplanes ?

You should have told them Nehru would disapprove such behaviour

Some had a serious take on this issue:
Sudden, repeated complaints & reports against @IndiGo6E by a certain section of media & intelligentsia is putting me to doubt.
If Indigo is being wronged, it has the wherewithal to get back. I think it shouldhttps://t.co/rR6orHsO7N

I don’t think @IndiGo6E staffers are rude. They are professional, courteous but don’t smile back, fawn at the passenger or indulge their idiosyncrasies. A normal person would not notice it but anyone with a sense of entitlement (real or fake) would end up with a bruised ego.

Social media has never been very kind to Ram Guha or his “agenda”.
People had also meted out the same “humorous treatment” when Guha was surprisingly included in the 4 member panel to run BCCI. We had also reported how he was bashed online for playing victim after making unsubstantial allegations against the BJP.
