Arvind Kejriwal has been spreading lies and making wild allegations by using a question like format ‘is it true’ or an equivalent of the same for a long time. Today he asked if the BJP was destroying retail business to pave way for FDI in retail.

FD interest rates drastically reduced after demonetisation
Reports of reduction of FD rates to 4.25% after demonetisation was shared by his party man Satyender Jain. Kejriwal claimed that middle class would be affected adversely because of this move.

Amit Shah owns 13000 crores declared by a businessman
When a Gujarat businessman Mahesh Shah declared 13,000 crore assets, Hardik Patel claimed that all the money belonged to Amit Shah. Kejriwal picked on this baseless allegation and asked ‘Is this true?’

The truth is, Amit Shah’s assets are worth 19 crore as per his declaration in 2017. Media went hullabaloo over this figure by comparing his previous declared assets.
ANI has been boycotting AAP events on Modi’s orders
Dipak Bajpai, an AAP member had tweeted that ANI had been boycotting AAP events based on Modi’s orders. Kejriwal spread this allegation by saying, ‘if this is true, it is shocking’

However the lie was busted by a report carried in the news portal , ‘Janta Ka Reporter’. The report carried a denial by Smita Prakash, editor of ANI.

One has to be supremely clueless to say that Nita Ambani runs Modi’s Twitter account. But Kejriwal shared it with a comment ‘absolutely shocking if it is true’. This is an absurd remark which deserves nothing but a smirk.
