After Subramanian Swamy revealed on Twitter yesterday that he was delivered documents related to the National Herald case which would speed up proceedings in the Court and his aide called it a ‘nuclear bomb’, there was a sense of excitement in the air. And events of the day certainly did live up to expectations. Subramanian Swamy revealed the IT Department Assessment order which punctures several holes in the Congress defense against Swamy’s claims.
People have now started hoping again that there just might be the slim chance that the Gandhis might indeed suffer the consequences of their actions.

Others noted the significance of the dates of the IT Assessment Order in light of the political games that have been in the news recently.

Some speculated on the identity of the mysterious person who ensured that the documents reach Subramanian Swamy.

Conspiracy Theory: @Swamy39 ‘s secret source of #NationalHerald papers is #Pidi; who has defected as he was smarter than his former master. ? pic.twitter.com/oSDQTFt4DT

However, there were others who were not so optimistic despite the explosive developments in the Court today.
Nothing is going to come out of the #NationalHerald case. It’s going to drag on for years. In any developed country they’d have been prosecuted and probably be out by now after serving full prison sentence. #HeraldPapersOut

#NationalHerald case back to haunt Sonia & @OfficeOfRG. But if IT dept hasn’t been able to execute its existing orders on @ndtv, Karti Chidambaram & others, how on earth will it execute this Rs 413-crore order against the Gandhis?

This is RIDICULOUS…Why court continue to give long adjournments again-n-again to Gandhis? Why court not open the documents right-away and started asking questions? Total MOCKERY of the judicial-process which is on for more than 4 yrs now?#NationalHerald @Swamy39 @Ish_Bhandari https://t.co/01b6DLYzPh

But they did concede the critical importance of the revelations that were made today.
Irrespective of the merits of @Swamy39‘s latest revelation on #NationalHerald case – #RahulGandhi cannot now avoid responding to the allegations and keep attacking Amit Shah and Modi on corruption. #HeraldPapersOut

Nevertheless, one thing is clear. The Congress has been deeply rattled by the events of the day and judging from the relentlessness with which Subramanian Swamy is pursuing the case, they have every reason to be afraid.
The Congress Strongly objected to the Documents, that whistle blower sent to @Swamy39
They are frightened of it. Why be scared of documents? Should not have done corruption.
