Karan Johar announces ‘Kesari’, Twitter users aren’t amused. Read why:

Filmmaker Karan Johar today announced his upcoming film ‘Kesari’ on Twitter along with the name of the leading lady in the film, Parineeti Chopra. However, there was a little glitch.

The announcement had an image of Akshay Kumar, the leading actor, instead of Parineeti Chopra, whose name featured in the announcement. Of course, Twitterati came up with their creative best to point out the obvious flaw in Johar’s announcement.

At a time when Bollywood is trying to fight allegations of nepotism and not having women centric roles for actresses, this tweet by Johar just proves a point that Bollywood still has a long way to go. Hopefully, the film will have more of Parineeti than what the poster did.
