On the second day of Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s historic visit to India, The both countries are organising the India Israel business innovation forum today on 15 January at the Taj Palace hotel, New Delhi.
The event is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in partnership with the embassy of Israel and Invest India. Invest India is a Government of India initiative which works as the National promotion and facilitation agency of India and works towards simplifying business environment for investors.
Bussiness climate between India and Israel are at their all-time best. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992, the bilateral trade which was worth about 200 million USD has now reached to more than 4.5billion USD as of 2016. Following PM Modi’s hugely successful visit to Israel in July 2017 and now PM Netanyahu’s visit to India, both the countries are looking at taking the partnership even further.
The India Israel business innovation forum today will discuss on Smart Transportation, Tech transfer, Healthcare, Smart Water Management, Startups and Venture capital for innovation.
The forum will conclude with the India Israel Business Summit where both Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Netanyahu will address the audience.
Mr Daniel Carmon, Israel’s ambassador to India has been actively involved in the planning and organisation of the Business Summit.
