The actor Prakash Raj who has recently been very active in the political scene with his vocal anti-BJP and anti-Modi rhetoric condemned the murderous attack on a person by Congress MLA’s son Mohammed Nalapad Haris. He said that he would not tolerate such arrogance from ‘whoever he is’ in a tweet

Perhaps the time to check the donor’s list of his NGO has arrived. If he has no habit of checking who funds his social venture, he must see the video below. The controversial actor had praised the same person who had brutally assaulted and injured a man in a pub for not sitting properly.
The actor had praised Mohammed Haris Nalapad for his ‘good upbringing’.
Dear @prakashraaj wow!! D praises u showered upon a young lad about his upbringing. Very true that! U went on #JustAsking everyone about everything. Now will u visit d innocent victim who was beaten up by someone u openly endorsed, Will u slap the criminal?#Bengaluru@dp_satishpic.twitter.com/ny9ltbPJxi

Perhaps he is unaware that the MLA’s other son has also got a fantastic upbringing. Umar, the other son of MLA NA Haris was lucky because media did not outrage when he had allegedly attacked the staff of another pub. On that occasion, Haris’ son got away without any case registered against him.
He had praised MLA Haris as a great man in a program organised in his constituency (Shantinagar, Bengaluru). In the same speech he had also said that he wanted to live as a fearless citizen and respect all religions and individuals. But now, it has emerged that the person who funded his NGO is a person who stands diametrically opposed to the ‘values’ that he claims to espouse.
How much of funds did the MLA’s son donate to the Prakash Raj foundation? Will Prakash Raj return the funds taken from this person who is accused of a grave act of violence? And while Prakash Raj claims to be fearless and independent, will he also concede that he is indirectly getting funds from the Congress party? One wonders.
