Bihar Police has arrested two men, Sultan Aazmi and Shehjad in connection with the viral video which has people raising pro-Pakistan slogans in Araria after the bypoll results were declared.

As per reports, moments after the BJP lost the Araria seat to RJD, locals were caught on video raising pro-Pakistan slogans.

While OpIndia could not independently verify the authenticity of the video, Times Now has reported that the police has confirmed the video in circulation is not a fake video.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday had said that Araria will become a “hub of terrorism”. He added that Araria is not just a border district, connected to Bengal and Nepal, it is also moving towards a hardline ideology. He said this is not just dangerous for Bihar but for the entire country.
