Watch: Manish Sisodia loses his cool, threatens protestors to silence them

While attending a Janta Darbar program, many people started protesting against Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia over the death of the three girls from hunger in the national capital. When the protests demanding answers from Sisodia got louder, he lost his cool and even threatened the protestors by saying ‘chup karana humein bhi aata hai’ (we know how to silence you).

In the video, it can be seen the Aam Aadmi Party leader, who has resorted to anchoring himself into the house of the Delhi LG as a means to protest for over a week, lost his cool. When people started protesting and rake up the issue of death of three young girls due to hunger, Sisodia shouted at them angrily and said, ‘why don’t you sit quietly on one side? Why are you raising slogans?’ When the sloganeering did not stop, he threateningly asked one of the protestors where he lives.

As per reports, as soon as Sisodia reached for the Janta Darbar, people started questioning him on why have the ration cards not reached till now. They said that if the family of the girls who died of hunger had got the ration card, they would not have died. The Janta Darbar was held to discuss on the closing of an alcohol shop in Mandawli area where the three girls had died last week.

But as seen in the video, Sisodia soon lost his cool. He said, ‘if you want to put across your point, do so quietly. Excise department officers are here for the public hearing. But if you are going to stop people from speaking and silencing them, then even we know how to silence you.’ Eventually, an angry Sisodia left the venue in the middle of the hearing.
