In a shocking incident, 14 skeletons of babies wrapped in plastic bags were found in Kolkata’s Haridevpur. The police has started an investigation in the said matter.

As per reports, the dead bodies of the babies were wrapped in plastic bags and were buried. The police has begun the probe and also started questioning the nearby hospitals. Reports say that the locals found the skeletons when they were cleaning the jungle. They informed the local councillor, who in turn informed the police.
As per local news channels, the police is yet to confirm whether these bodies are of pre-mature or aborted babies or newborn. Bodies had been found wrapped around plastic bags individually. The police have not yet been able to find any CCTV footage and it is believed that the area is protected by private security guards but according to Police the area where those bodies had been dumped are around 150 meters away from the location of those guards. The police has informed that the bodies were dumped within an area of 20 to 25 meters close to the wall of the compound.
Massive search is undertaken as it is believed that there are more skeletons may be found buried in the area.
