Last night, as India tied with Afghanistan in the Asia Cup last night, moving to Finals, an image of a kid sobbing at not being able to celebrate victory went viral on the Internet.
The Internet was moved by the pureness in the boy as many perhaps saw their own childhood in the innocence of the child.
My heart goes out to the Sardar kid who’s crying. Many years ago, that was me.#INDvAFG

That sardar kid crying is the most touching thing I have seen in a while in a cricket match
Also, what a contest!

The men in blue were also moved to see the child cry. While Harbhajan Singh consoled him on Twitter saying that the finals, which will be held on Friday (against either Pakistan or Bangladesh, depending on the match today), will be won by India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar called and cheered him up.
@harbhajan_singh Paaji he is happy now and looking forward to the final on Friday… Really kind of @BhuviOfficial as well to call and console him… We will surely bounce back and it will be our “Fateh” on Friday ??? Go Team India @BCCI pic.twitter.com/BPkBXO2hIv
