Viral video: Fireball lands on a Pakistani news anchor’s lap during live television

While journalists across the world take extreme risks to cover war zones and other dangerous stories, it appears in Pakistan, news anchors aren't safe in their own studious as well.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, a Pakistani news channel anchor could be seen being hit with a fireball on live television. Moments earlier, the sound of an explosion was heard which rattled the composure of the anchor.

After the fireball fell on his lap, the anchor could be seen going helter-skelter to rid himself of it. Presumably, nothing untoward happened and the viral clip came across as extremely comical.

People on Twitter found the video hilarious and were quick to tweet witty responses.
