AAP IT cell faces humiliation over their old tweets as Kejriwal joins hands with Sharad Pawar

Twitter users dug out the old, embarrassing tweets of AAP IT cell members where they had called all sort of names to Sharad Pawar, the same man their Dear Leader was found hobnobbing with.

The anti-corruption crusader Arvind Kejriwal, who rose to prominence and power promising to take on the mighty and powerful, has left more than his party members disillusioned. After hugging fodder scam convict Lalu Prasad Yadav during the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar in November 2015, Kejriwal was seen joining hands with Sharad Pawar of Nationalist Congress Party during the ‘United India’ rally hosted by TMC chief Mamata Banerjee on Saturday. Kejriwal’s bonhomie with Pawar, who has his own share of allegations of corruption to his name, didn’t go down too well with Aam Aadmi Party IT cell members who were at a loss of words trying to defend the indefensible.

Other AAP supporters also expressed their disillusionment.

Amusingly, Arvind Kejriwal, who has suddenly found an ally in Mamata Banerjee, at one point had sworn he would not back her even if Anna Hazare would.

Old tweets of Arvind Kejriwal himself were dug out where he had accused Sharad Pawar of having ‘black money’.

Clearly, things have changed a lot since November 2016.

That is not it. Former AAP leaders, who left the party after being disillusioned, too, took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the way things have taken turn in Aam Aadmi Party.

Mayank Gandhi further added how Kejriwal, in his desperation for power, has joined hands with the disruptive forces in India.

Arvind Kejriwal has been facing a lot of criticism from his supporters, many of whom have quit the party complaining about his dictatorial tendencies and unwillingness to take criticism. Kejriwal has also been accused of straying from the core principles the party was formed on.
