BJP MP from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha Shatrughan Sinha’s VIP facility stands withdrawn from Patna Airport. Sinha will no longer be able to bring his own car to the tarmac and will be subjected to regular frisking and security checks.
According to Jai Prakash Narayan Airport Director Rajendra Singh Lahauriya, the period for which the facilities were extended to Sinha ended in June this year, following which no new orders were issued.
BJP rebel leader Shatrughan Sinha, who has been attacking the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently shared the stage with another BJP rebel leader Yashwant Sinha at an Aam Aadmi Party rally in Noida. Kejriwal also said that Shatrughan Sinha is going to contest elections, but did not mention which constituency he will fight from and which party is offering him a ticket.
Earlier too, Shatrughan Sinha had shared the stage with AAP leaders where BJP workers showed him black flags. The incident had sparked rumours that he may contest the upcoming 2019 general elections on AAP ticket.
It is widely speculated that Sinha may not be given a ticket to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by the BJP.
