Since early today morning, while media and social media have been set ablaze by reports of India conducting airstrikes over terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, there are certain handles that keep the environment relaxed, by providing some much needed comic relief.
Aam Aadmi Party politician turned journalist Ashutosh has concluded that India has used 2000 numbers of Mirage jets in the airstrike. Worse, he has somehow deduced that Mirage and Jet are different things. He Tweeted that India has used ’12 Mirages and 2000 Jets’ for the air strike.
How, as per Ashutosh, 1000 kg of explosives were to be divided among ’12 Mirages and 2000 Jets’ is perhaps a mystery we will never unlock.
Not so long ago, Man Booker prize winner and well-known Naxal sympathiser Arundhati Roy had claimed that the Rafale fighter jets are aircraft carriers. Ashutosh’s goof up thankfully has not gone that far. However, it did provide some much needed comic relief amidst all the tension.

While till now it was the journalists in Pakistan who were taking the burden of comedy amidst high tension, looks like some Indian journalists will join them soon in providing laughter doses.
