As per reports, a top Jaish-e-Mohammad commander linked with the recent Pulwama terror attack which claimed lives of 44 CRPF personnel is believed to be trapped in the ongoing encounter between the security forces and Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists.
An encounter started between the security forces and terrorists in Pinglan area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir where 2-3 terrorists were reportedly trapped. The Army personnel belonged to the 55 Rashtriya Rifles.

After a few hours of the encounter, the firing had briefly stopped for some time. However, after a brief halt, the firing has resumed.
#Update: Firing has started yet again after halt of more than 3 hours in Pulwama. Internet continues to be shut in most areas of South Kashmir. The civilians died because they were used as Human Shields by Pakistani terrorists of Jaish-e-Muhammad.

As per reports, 2 civilians, used as human shields by the terrorists, were also killed in the encounter. The encounter is underway about 15 kms from the place where the suicide bomber killed 44 CRPF jawans last week.
