The grand old party today released its first list of 15 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The first list contains 4 constituencies from Gujarat and 11 from Uttar Pradesh.

In Gujarat, Raju Parmar will contest from Ahmedabad West which is a reserved seat for Scheduled Caste (SC), Bharat Sinh Solanki will contest from Anand, Prashant Patel from Vadodara and Ranjit Rathwa from Chhota Udaipur, which is a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
For Uttar Pradesh, other than Amethi and Rae Bareli, Salman Khursheed will contest from Farrukhabad. Imran Masood will contest from Saharanpur, Saleem Iqbal Shervani from Badaun, Jitin Prasad from Dhaurahra and Annu Tandon will contest from Unnao. Rajaram Pal will contest from Akbarpur, Brijlal Khabri from Jalaun, which is a seat reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC). Nirmal Khatri of Congress will contest from Faizabad and RPN Singh will contest from Kushi Nagar.
