Actor Madhavan has taken to Twitter to express his displeasure at an unsavoury video shared by the official Twitter handle of the Congress party. He said that the politics should be kept aside and such distasteful video taking a swipe at the nations’ PM in front of China is totally unwarranted.
This is in such bad taste. What ever the political rivalry -Shri Modi Ji is the Prime Minister of this country and you are demeaning this nation in front of China in this video with such crass attempt at humor.NOT expected from this Twitter handle ??.@narendramodi @RahulGandhi https://t.co/KJiPyZI7lt

The Congress party handle had shared an offensive video disparaging their political rival PM Narendra Modi. In the video, Congress derides the nation and PM Modi while unduly lionising Chinese Premier Xi Jinping and holding him on a high pedestal.
Madhavan had tagged Congress President Rahul Gandhi in his tweet and asserted that the crass video doesn’t befit a national political party like Congress. He accused Congress of demeaning the Prime Minister of the country and the nation in front of China through their gross attempt at humour.
After China had blocked the move to designate Masood Azhar as a global terrorist for the fourth time, Rahul Gandhi had taken potshots at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had called him ‘fearful’ of China’s Premier Xi Jinping. Congress and its President appear gleeful that China has snubbed India by blocking the listing of a dreaded terrorist like Masood Azhar. The video edited and shared by the Congress handle seems to echo this joy and their unmitigated contempt for India and its PM.
