Currently, Deol’s father, Dharmendra is busy campaigning for his wife Hema Malini who will be contesting on a BJP ticket from Mathura. He is expected to campaign for Sunny Deol as well.
The BJP will be hoping to benefit from Sunny Deol’s popularity in the state where it’s facing the possibility of an imminent loss in seats. Congress under Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has succeeded in securing its poll prospects in Punjab where it is expected to make significant gains.
