One RSS leader and his PSO have been killed by terrorists in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, RSS leader Chandrakant Sharma, who worked as a medical assistant, was killed while on duty. Sharma was Sah Prant Sewa Pramukh of RSS in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that terrorists barged into the Kishtwar District Hospital where Sharma worked and fired at him. Sharma was gravely injured at this attack. The terrorists also snatched the weapon from the PSO. This ensured a scuffle, and PSO of Jammu and Kashmir Police Rajendra Kumar was shot dead on the spot. Chandrakant Sharma was immediately airlifted to Government Medical College in Jammu for better treatment after the attack.
BJP Spokesperson Sunil Sethi later informed that Sharma succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Senior police officials have rushed to the scene and have started an investigation into the case. A curfew has been imposed in the area as the situation became tense after the attack. The Army is scheduled to conduct flag march later in the day. Internet services were also snapped in Kishtwar as precautionary measures.
