If making unsubstantiated claims against cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir wasn’t enough, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has now sent a legal notice to the BJP candidate from East Delhi for his tweet “I am ashamed of my CM Arvind Kejriwal.” Through the notice, AAP has sought an immediate apology from Gambhir for his tweets and publishing of his apology on his social media account within 24 hours.
I feel ashamed to have a CM like @ArvindKejriwal
— Chowkidar Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) May 9, 2019
A few days back AAP had convened a press conference to level serious allegations against Gautam Gambhir, accusing him of distributing derogatory pamphlets that contained obscene remarks for her opponent Atishi Marlena. Gambhir had, however, vehemently denied having any connection with the pamphlets.
In response to the slanderous allegations levelled against him by the AAP leadership, Gambhir tweeted that he is ashamed of having a CM like Arvind Kejriwal. He also challenged Kejriwal that if he can furnish evidence proving his links with the derogatory pamphlets, he’d instantly quit politics. However, if he couldn’t, will Kejriwal quit the politics, Gambhir asked.
Gambhir also expressed his shock over Kejriwal’s alleged act of outraging the modesty of his own colleague in order to win elections. Gambhir tweeted addressing Kejriwal as filth and suggested that someone needs to use AAP’s election symbol ‘Broom’ to clean his dirty mind.
Gambhir had also filed a defamation suit against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodiya and AAP candidate from East Delhi Atishi Marlena for levelling baseless allegations against him with regards to circulation of defamatory pamphlets. The BJP leader has further demanded an unconditional and unqualified apology for defaming him with the false and baseless allegations.
It is noteworthy to mention that Kejriwal has often used unparliamentary language and made unfounded allegations against his political adversaries. Recently, in interaction with propagandist Kunal Kamra, Kejriwal had likened PM Modi to a tumour which needs to be eliminated. In the past, he had also called PM Modi a ‘psychopath.
Modi is a coward and a psycopath

A few months back Kejriwal was on an apology spree as he couldn’t prove the allegations made by him against various politicians. He offered an unconditional apology to Congress’ Kapil Sibal, Union Minister Arun Jaitley and Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Tendering an apology to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Arvind Kejriwal wrote, “I made certain statements, without regard to its verifiability, which seem to have hurt you. I have nothing personal against you. I regret the same. Let us put the incident behind us and bring the court proceedings to a closure.”
