AAP MLA Alka Lamba, who in the past has shown signs of disenchantment with Aam Aadmi Party and its chief Arvind Kejriwal has today once again lamented on Twitter that she is being deliberately ignored by the party and the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Lamba has conveyed her disappointment for not being invited for the laying of foundation-stone for one of the projects in her constituency of Chandni Chowk in Delhi.
Expressing her grief on Twitter, Lamba said in a tweet, ” It is understandable that I’m sidelined in the party but is it right to keep an MLA detached from the government activities? Today, in my assembly constituency, CM Arvind Kejriwal is going to come to lay the foundation stone for one of the projects, but far from printing my name in the card, he didn’t even felt the need to invite me for the function, this is a grave insult of my people.”
This is not the first time that Alka has expressed her disgruntlement with the AAP supremo. The rift between the top mandarins of the Aam Aadmi Party and MLA Alka Lamba has been widening for some time now. A few months back, Lamba had bemoaned that the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had unfollowed her on Twitter and that she was unceremoniously removed from the official Whatsapp group.
Before that, in December last year, MLA Alka Lamba was reportedly asked to resign from the Aam Aadmi Party over a resolution that was presented in the Delhi Assembly on December 21. Alka Lamba had said that she had protested against an alleged proposal to revoke Bharat Ratna awarded to former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
