Bihar MLA’s assistant caught displaying objectionable behaviour while on a ‘study tour’ in Manipur

The video was first put out by Imphal Times which mentioned that this was not the first time such an incident has taken place in the North-East.

Officials working with Bihar lawmakers, who were on a study tour in Manipur, were caught displaying objectionable behaviour, dancing in an obscene manner with a lady, who appeared visibly uncomfortable around them.

The men can be seen dancing in a room, reportedly in Moreh, near the India-Myanmar border where the man repeatedly puts his hand on her shoulder and tries to hug her and get close to her. At some point in the video, he also offers her some beverage from a tin-can.

The incident reportedly took place on 1st June when Yaduvasn Kumar Yadav, RJD MLA, who heads the Committee on Internal Resource and Central Assistance of the Bihar Legislative Assembly along with other members of the panel visited Manipur to “take stock of the development program” under the Act East Policy of the NDA government.

Yadav was with four colleagues including the BJP’s Sachin Prasad Singh, Janata Dal United’s Raj Kumar Rai and another RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) leader Raja Pakar.

The video was first put out by Imphal Times which mentioned that this was not the first time such an incident has taken place in the North-East. As per Imphal Times, many VIPs and VVIPs consider the North-East their ‘sex destination’ but owing to lack of evidence, no action could be taken against them.

Although initial reports claimed that Yaduvasn Kumar Yadav was seen in the video, it has come to light that the person in the video is Vijay Kumar, an assistant of JDU MLA Raj Kumar Rai who was part of the delegation.
