Suspended Congress leader alleges Rahul Gandhi’s press meet passes were sold for Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000

Earlier yesterday, the AICC approved the proposal sent by the general secretary of Tamil Nadu Congress for taking stringent action against Karate Thiagarajan for his frequent anti-party activities and transgression of party discipline.

Suspended Congress leader, Karate R. Thiagarajan has made an explosive revelation alleging that the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee’s media coordinator Gopanna traded passes for Rahul Gandhi’s press meet for Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000. Thiagarajan stated that he’d approach police commissioner to file a complaint about the security lapse.

Expressing his angst against the Congress party for having suspended him, Thiagarajan defended himself saying that he didn’t utter a single word against the party. He asserted that there were 7 people in the internal meeting who expressed their disapproval against DMK but only he was made scapegoat and his words were published in the media. Thiagarajan has also alleged that he had been suspended from the party without any notice.
