Ajmer Dargah chief backs PM Modi on Article 370 abrogation, appeals to Kashmiris be a part of mainstream

Syed Zainul Abedin stated that he appeals to all Kashmiri men and women to support the government's decision, take up the golden opportunity to be a part of the mainstream and benefit from the nation's laws and policies.

Syed Zainul Abedin, the chief of the Ajmer Dargah, has stated that he supports PM Modi’s decision of abrogating Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Abedin has also added that the Indian Muslims have no support for Pakistan and its lies.

Speaking to Times Now, Syed Zainul Abedin has stated that the government’s decision to abrogate Article 370 was the right decision. He added that through the media channel, he wants to send a message to Pakistan and its leaders that their attempts to instigate Indian Muslims against the nation and their hopes that Indian Muslims will support them will fail badly.

Zainul Abedin added that if there is ever another war between India and Pakistan, the Muslims in India will stand with Indian armed forces and face Pakistan in the battlefield.

Syed Zainul Abedin also added that by abrogating Article 370, the government of India has almost solved the Kashmir issue. Abedin stated, “Every Indian should be proud of the government’s decision. Some people are trying to give it a communal colour which is wrong. It is no way related to religion and Muslims of India should welcome the decision.”

Zainul Abedin further stated that he appeals to all Kashmiri men and women to support the government’s decision, take up the golden opportunity to be a part of the mainstream and benefit from the nation’s laws and policies.

In the past, Syed Zainul Abedin had also called for a ban on cow slaughter and had urged Muslims to give up consuming beef in order to establish communal harmony with Hindus.

Recently, Maulana Mehmood Madani, of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had also supported PM Modi’s decision and had stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and separatist movements in Kashmir are harmful for Kashmiris.
