Wife of Former Hindu Mahasabha leader Kamlesh Tiwari who met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath earlier in the day today said that he has assured them that the investigation will be done and the culprits will be hanged to death.
Kiran Tiwari, widow of Kamlesh Tiwari, said, Yogi Adityanath has assured that the investigation will be carried out and the murders will be given capital punishment. Kiran Tiwari says that she has demanded that the murderers are hanged to death for the brutal murder of her husband. She added that he (Yogi Adityanath) may be a chief minister today but they have been his followers since long back.
Tiwari’s mother referred to Yogi Adityanath as her elder son and said that she felt good after meeting him. She also demanded that justice should be served to her son.
On 18th October 2019, Hindu leader Kamlesh Tiwari was brutally murdered for his 2015 comments where he had allegedly insulted Prophet Muhammad. The Uttar Pradesh police and Gujarat ATS sprung into action to blow the lid off a Surat-based Jihadi group that was indoctrinated by one of the accused who planned the murder, Maulana Mohsin Sheikh. Two other conspirators, Rashid Pathan and Faizan have been arrested. The Gujarat ATS has declared the names of the murderers as Moinuddin and Ashfaq, though the UP police have not commented on the names of the murderers who are still absconding.
