Seeking extension of Chidambaram’s custody, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta asked for further custody arguing that the Congress minister needs to be confronted with documents showing beneficial ownership of his family members.
Representing Chidambaram, senior advocate Kapil Sibal pleaded that his client is not doing well and should be sent to Hyderabad for treatment. However, Mehta replied back saying that he can be treated in AIIMS in Delhi.
