From enjoying mustard field to discussing UK elections: How five-star “journalists” looked away as Muslim mobs burnt Bengal

The Muslim mobs have pelted stones at public properties and policemen along with burning of railway infrastructure in the state. Mobs pelted stones on ambulances and torched several vehicles, A cop was injured in the violent protests against Citizenship Amendment Act.

The state of West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee is burning as Muslim mobs led by Islamists have gone a rampage to such an extent that the state has deliberately chosen to remain on sidelines fearing more violence by these Muslim mobs.

The ‘liberal-secular’ industry which often gives moral science lectures on constitutionalism, democracy, rule of law seems has also joined the bandwagon to ignore the riots that are being unleashed by Muslim mobs in the state. It is not shocking anymore to see that the media often referred to as the fourth pillar of the democracy has turned a blind eye to the barbarity that is being unleashed by Islamist forces in West Bengal.

As perpetrators belong to the Muslim community, it is expected that the editors, journalists, members of the ‘liberal-secular’ media, the so-called intelligentsia will not speak or tweet on any developments that have happened in the state in the last 48 hours.

Rajdeep Sardesai, the Michealangelo of Indian journalism, as usual, has largely ignored the news of violent protests in West Bengal. Instead, he has been busy fantasising multi-crore scam accused P Chidamabaram, who has come out of the jail after 106 days of jail time.

Suhasini Haider, the National Editor and Diplomatic Affairs Editor of leftist rag- The Hindu which has lately joined hands with the Congress party in peddling anti-Indian propaganda, not only chose to ignore Bengal violence but also tried to deviate the protests by claiming that protestors everywhere in the country calling for the Citizenship Amendment Act to be repealed.

“The common sentiment is that India is united, its constitution is paramount and that governments must hear all voices,” she tweeted.

Unsurprisingly, Barkha Dutt – the retired news anchor, has spent time on teaching political lessons to ‘liberals’ following Labour party’s defeat in the United Kingdom. She found time to urge the liberals to let go of their elitism and lectured them how to defeat the right-wing.

Otherwise, on the issue of violence by Muslim mobs in Bengal, there is radio silence on Barkha Dutt’s timeline.

Shekhar Gupta, the undisputed leader of the media mafia of the country, was busy enjoying his time in mustard fields rather than holding the ‘establishment’ of West Bengal accountable for allowing Muslim mobs to set ablaze the state.

Rahul Kanwal, the poster-boy of ‘nobody’ seems to be enjoying his weekly off and in turn, has not commented on the West Bengal horror.

The rampage of the Muslim mob continues in West Bengal under the watch of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as Islamists have now vandalised more than five railway stations and set fire to a toll plaza in Murshidabad district on Saturday during their protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Earlier in the day, the Muslim mobs had vandalised the complex and some trains by resorting to stone pelting, injuring a driver, officials said. The violence affected train services in Sealdah division of the Eastern Railway.

Protests against the CAB were planned soon after Friday prayers across mosques in the State and other various parts of the country which has resulted in extreme violence in parts of West Bengal.

The Muslim mobs have pelted stones at public properties and policemen along with burning of railway infrastructure in the state. Mobs pelted stones on ambulances and torched several vehicles, A cop was injured in the violent protests against Citizenship Amendment Act.
