BJP Andhra Pradesh took to Twitter to share a video in which the injured BJP activist is seen sitting in a moving car. The attack had left him bleeding profusely. The windscreen of the car, he was travelling in, was also broken.

In December last year, a BJP worker named Prasad Raju in Nagavaram village in Andhra Pradesh had alleged that a group of YSRCP goons had attacked his family in which his aged mother had sustained head injuries. He claimed that he was beaten up by YSRCP workers as he had recently joined BJP. He alleged 20 people were involved in the attack. However, police ruled out any political motive and had termed it a family dispute.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP has regularly accused YSR Congress Party of indulging into political violence after coming to power in May. It had in September last year alleged that the cadres of the YSRCP have killed as many as eight of its party workers and have attacked many more.
