Jyotiraditya Scindia’s aunt Yashodhara Raje in BJP congratulates him for quitting Congress, calls it ‘Gharwapsi’

Vasundhara Raje, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, also remembered Jyotiraditya's father Madhavrao Scindia on his birth anniversary today.

Yashodhara Raje Scindia, sister of the late Madhavrao Scindia and aunt to Jyotiraditya Scindia, has expressed her happiness at her nephew’s resignation from the Congress party and congratulated him on his ‘Gharwapsi’. Yashodhara Raje said that Jyotiraditya Scindia was being neglected in the Congress party. Jyotiraditya Scindia is also the grandson of the late Rajmata of Gwalior, Vijaya Raje Scindia, one of the co-founders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was active in the BJP’s predecessor Jana Sangh for decades prior to that.

Vasundhara Raje, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, also remembered Madhavrao Scindia on his birth anniversary today. Jyotiraditya Scindia’s other aunt remembered the close bonds that siblings share and the affection she still bears towards her brother and the father of Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Jyotiriaditya Scindia, the scion of the Scindia Dynasty, has resigned from the Congress party after rifts widened between him and Chief Minister Kamal Nath. The Congress government in Madhya Pradesh is on the verge of collapse after nearly 20 MLAs resigned following Scindia’s lead. There is also the possibility of more leaders following suit.

It is reported that Scindia may soon join the BJP. Reports say that he may be elected to the Rajya Sabha on a BJP ticket. With Scindia and several Congress MLAs resigning, the Kamal Nath government may fall anytime.
