Earlier, a woman from Pune without a travel history had tested positive for the virus. However, she had traveled to Vashi in Navi Mumbai to attend a wedding on the 3rd of March. “We are investigating the case. Although she tested positive for Covid-19, she does not have a history of travel abroad. She must have come in contact with someone who had foreign travel history,” district collector Naval Kishore Ram said. The woman, currently in her early 40s, is admitted to the Bharti Hospital and is on ventilator support.
