‘You are not doing anything good in your real life’: Danish Kaneria slams Prashant Bhushan for mocking actor Kangana Ranaut

Pakistani Hindu cricketer Danish Kaneria quoted Prashant Bhushan'post and wrote, "Making jokes is very easy! At least Kangana did something good for her country in 'reel life', and you are not doing anything good in real life. Manikarnika is a must-watch film that awakens the feeling of patriotism and self-respect in all of us."

On Wednesday (25th October) advocate Prashant Bhushan mocked actress Kangana Ranaut from his X handle. Prashant Bhushan shared a video in which the actress is seen failing to aim and hit an arrow at the Ravan effigy on Dussehra. Pakistani Hindu cricketer Danish Kaneria slammed Prashant Bhushan in his X post for this. Notably, Danish Kaneria recently hit headlines in a similar social media interaction exposing Islamist Arfa Khanum Sherwani.

Prashant Bhushan wrote in his X post, “She fought hard, she was the queen of Jhansi!” Prashant Bhushan’s taunt was aimed at actress Kangana Ranaut seen in the video shared in this post. Kangana Ranaut was aiming an arrow at a Ravan effigy to be burnt on the occasion of Dussehra in a program. The arrow could not go far.

In her film ‘Manikarnika’, Kangana Ranaut played the role of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi who fought against the British East India Company in the 1857 uprising. Prashant Bhushan in his cryptic post targeted the actress comparing her with the lady military leader she played on the silver screen.

Pakistani Hindu cricketer Danish Kaneria quoted Prashant Bhushan’post and wrote, “Making jokes is very easy! At least Kangana did something good for her country in ‘reel life’, and you are not doing anything good in real life. Manikarnika is a must-watch film that awakens the feeling of patriotism and self-respect in all of us.”

Danish Kaneria made it to the headlines by giving befitting replies to The Wire ‘journalist’ Arfa Khanum Sherwani who in her X posts indirectly sympathised Pakistani cricket team by questioning the Indian cricket fans. The online spat between the two began on Sunday (22nd October) after Arfa Khanum Sherwani accused the Indian cricket fans of supposedly displaying ‘majoritarianism’ during the 2023 World Cup. Danish Kaneria had asked The Wire ‘journalist’ to leave India if she had issues with her Indian entity.

Arfa Khanum Sherwani cried foul and accused the ex-cricketer of unleashing an online lynch mob against her. In response to this, Danish Kaneria challenged the senior editor of the leftist propaganda outlet to show any post that she had posted in support of Bharat and its culture.
