On 13th May a Hindu girl registered a case of violence against her Muslim husband in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in which six other individuals were also named along with some unidentified persons. Now, she has come forward and alleged a deep conspiracy of love jihad. She further charged that a Congress leader is also involved in this entire network.
The victim is originally from the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh while the accused Saifuddin is from Bidar, Karnataka. She has filed a report at the Gudamba police station in Lucknow over the issue.
The woman has now detailed her torment to the media in detail. She conveyed that the offender met her as a client while talking to ABP News. He began courting her after they talked for a few days. He used to drink alcohol by mixing pills in it and claimed that he was very upset with his family members. He claimed he has personal problems and gradually began to persuade her to marry him. One day he gave her a sedative and sexually violated her. He also recorded her explicit video and used it to blackmail her.
She added that Saifuddin’s profession is to trap girls in his net by emotionally blackmailing them. The females are from states like Mumbai, Delhi and Gujarat. Saifuddin reportedly ‘traps’ them with the allurement of jobs in beauty parlours and other benefits. Later, they are sold in the Gulf countries and are made to perform mujra. She claimed to know many girls working in different bars in Bahrain. Meanwhile, she mentioned that there is a Congress party leader in Bidar who is a relative of Saifuddin. He is also charged with assaulting and attempting to rape her.
The female earlier stated that she had spent the previous six to seven years living and working in Bahrain and Dubai. She met the culprit in Bahrain. He befriended and raped her after which she became pregnant. She submitted a case against him there, however, she was advised to embrace Islam. On 13th February, she succumbed to his family’s pressure and became a Muslim as well as married him. Saifuddin brought her to Mumbai under the guise of treatment when she was five months pregnant.
She disclosed, “One day, he sexually assaulted me in Bahrain and I lodged a rape complaint there. While the matter was under investigation, Saifuddin and his family members persuaded me to withdraw the complaint after I became five months pregnant as a result of the rape. They also pressured me to change my religion. Later, on February 13, 2024, I was married to Saifuddin according to Muslim law. In due course, Saifuddin tricked me into visiting Mumbai for a medical consultation, and I was admitted to a hospital where the doctors secretly aborted the five-month-old fetus.”
The perpetrator then took her to his home in Bidar where his brother Sabiruddin and three others, along with their sister, physically and mentally tortured the girl, as per the victim’s complaint. She also complained about his ‘girlfriend’ Monika and some other people. Afterwards, a First Information Report was registered against Saifuddin, his 4 brothers sister and Monika under 498A, 323 and 313 of the Indian Penal Code. OpIndia has a copy of the FIR.
