On Friday (23rd August), the police arrested a man named Altaf for the abduction and rape of a 21-year-old Hindu woman along with his accomplices. The incident took place in Karkala town in Udupi district of Karnataka.
As per reports, Altaf befriended the victim three months ago using Instagram. After having gained her trust, he asked the woman to meet him in person.
Following that, the accused and his 3 aides kidnapped the victim and gave her a spiked drink. Altaf raped her as she lay unconscious. One of the accomplices, identified as Zubaira, supplied the beer bottles and drinks.
Victim dumped near her house
