Rahul Gandhi has positioned himself as a youth leader even as he enters his late forties. Today he was interacting with students at Maharani’s Art college for women in Mysuru. He spoke on Nirav Modi, GST, demonetisation and jobless growth in his interaction.
We are growing pretty decently as an economy but we are not creating jobs, it is because those who have skills don’t have access to finance & support. The problem is, huge amount of money goes to 15-20 people: Rahul Gandhi at Maharani’s Arts College for Women in Mysuru #Karnataka pic.twitter.com/T2RSV93IRA

When asked about benefits he would offer to NCC cadets who have passed C certificate examination he was unable to answer the question. The Congress President made no attempts to understand about the C certificate examination before answering the question on stage.
#WATCH: ‘I don’t know the details of NCC training & that type of stuff, so I won’t be able to answer that question’: Rahul Gandhi on being asked, ‘What benefits will you give to NCC cadets after passing ‘C’ certificate examination?’ #Karnataka pic.twitter.com/Vb2fCUsVFp

He went on to add – “As a young Indian person I would like to give you an opportunity where you can have a future, where you can have successful education and where you can thrive in this country. Details of NCC, I don’t know exactly, training and what you go through.”
Social media reacted in a sarcastic manner to Rahul Gandhi’s answer.
With each passing day seeing this burdened child of collective lutyensibility, I feel saddened that he seems to PM elect nominee for many people. Sad times I am living in. https://t.co/YdvaY8AYhR

One of the Twitter users felt that the lack of nationalism in the Congress party had led to a situation where its president doesn’t know anything about the NCC.
You @RahulGandhi inspired by idea of Naxalism and having anti-Army thinking can’t understand commitment of NCC cadets. NCC generates idea of Nationalism & Patriotism among youths. It inspires them to join Army. NCC ‘C’ certificate makes eligible youth for defence service. https://t.co/OJiRgvleIk

The lack of connection between Rahul Gandhi and life of India was the reason for the Congress president’s failure to answer the question as per another user.
PM’s palace to Doon School to Stephens to US to UK (via Italy) . If you never touched and were never touched by India, how will you ever know anything about it? https://t.co/ObK51GQUF5

The youth and general public will probably find it hard to support a leader who gives vague and casual answers to questions thrown at him.
