The International Cricket Council set the cat among the pigeons after it posted a tweet mocking the trophy for the T20 series to be played between Pakistan and Australia.
Giving taking the biscuit a whole new meaning! https://t.co/YA1B7O3lUk

Initially, it was just a quoted tweet but the person behind the Twitter handle of the ICC did not stop there. Considering we are all living in a meme-field world, the ICC too could not stop themselves from taking potshots at the PCB.

Pakistanis are ostensibly enraged with the manner in which the ICC trolled the PCB leading some to speculate whether their social media handle is run by an Indian.
Hmmm — is an Indian perhaps running ICC’s official Twitter account?https://t.co/20fADQoA2K

This is unacceptable, from a page representing the whole of international cricket! @PCB must take an action against this!! https://t.co/8vxCZtTYov

Can’t believe these tweets were posted by ICC. Ridiculing a trophy design by the sport’s governing body is totally unacceptable. I hope PCB takes up this matter with ICC. pic.twitter.com/QHLPlvRCdu

The Pakistani media is also running headlines admonishing the ICC for mocking the trophy.
People on social media meanwhile are having a lot of fun at the expense of the Biscuit Trophy.
Now this one really takes the biscuit.
Australia and Pakistan are competing in the T20 series for a trophy that features what looks like a giant cheese cracker.

Easy ho jaao Faizan. Iss Trophy ka mazaaq nahin agar uraa tha ICC (or anyone) toh it would be dereliction of duty. I mean look at it. It’s a biscuit for gods sake. https://t.co/1UU9mnrcYe

After seeing the economic condition of Pakistan I am confident that they will put all their efforts in winning the Roti Cup

Well, it is hard to imagine how no one from the PCB could gauge the potential public reaction to the ridiculous and bizarre trophy. Mockery is only natural if cricket teams are made to play against each other for a glorified biscuit.
