Parody nation, Pakistan: Journalist plugs a video so India hears Imran Khan ‘loud and clear’, unfortunately, the video has no sound

Pakistan was caught off-guard when 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets crossed the International border and pounded terror camps in Pakistan with 1000kgs of bombs, killing JeM chief Masood Azhar’s brother-in-law Maulana Yusuf Azhar and about another 200-300 terrorists.

In the early morning of February 26, 2019, the IAF avenged the death of 40 CRPF soldiers killed in Pulwama attack by conducting precise air strikes on terror camps in Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chikuti regions of Pakistan and PoK. The attacks have elicited clumsy contradictory responses from the Pakistani side, thereby lending authenticity to their occurrence, vehemently denied by the Pakistan spokesperson of Pakistan armed forces till now.

In the wake of the air strikes, a visibly incensed and bellicose Pakistani journalist has uploaded a video of a meeting chaired by Pakistan PM Imran Khan with a warning “Loud and Clear” on Twitter. However, she had failed to realise that the video is mute and has no audio input. In addition to this, none of those featured in the video appears to be talking.

As can be inferred from the body language of the security officials and ministers attending the meet, they were utterly gobsmacked by India’s audacious move to attack terror camps harboured by Pakistan. The glum and despondent participants hardly appeared to be in a position to issue a ‘loud and clear’ threat to India.

Her laughter-evoking tweet has had the Twitterverse in splits with many people trolling her for the apparent irony in her tweet. While some of the Twitter users have responded by adding music to the video and memes reflecting the prevailing panic among the officials, others have highlighted the inherent paradox of the tweet. Some of the reactions she had received are as follows-

Perhaps, the silence in the video is a mark of respect for those who have perished in India’s air strikes and who were so steadfastly protected by Pakistanis.
