Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala’s silence on abduction and forceful conversion of two Hindu girls is deafening

Social media users have been asking Malala to take a stand and condemn the barbaric incident of conversion and forced marriage of two under-age Hindu girls in her country Pakistan. They questioned the silence of Malala who claims to be an ambassador of peace.

The abduction and forceful religious conversion of two Hindu girls- Raveena and Reena in Pakistan’s Sindh has not only shocked the conscience of people across the world but also exposed the bigotry that exists in societies of the terrorist state of Pakistan.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, the face of the ‘signature feminists’ movements across the world, has been tight-lipped about the heinous abducting and conversions of two Hindu sisters in her country Pakistan. Malala, who often preaches the world about feminist adventures and jumps in to display her intellect over human rights issues especially against women across the world seems to have not found her voice to condemn bigotry of Pakistanis as she could face severe backlash within her own country.

However, social media users, who often exposes these kinds of hypocrisy have yet again done so by questioning Malala’s selectivity in condemning human rights abuses. Social media users have been asking Malala to take a stand and condemn the barbaric incident of conversion of two under-age Hindu girls in her country Pakistan. They questioned the silence of Malala who claims to be an ambassador of peace.

Some other social media users reacted angrily on the hypocrisy of feminists like Malala and termed them as the ‘biggest scam’ for not uttering even a word regarding the abductions and conversions that have been perpetrated by Islamists in her own country.

After several social media users and activists questioned the silence of Malala, she resorted to blocking users after they asked her to seek justice from the Pakistani government for the abduction and forceful conversion by Islamists in Pakistan.

Interestingly, the barbaric incidents of abductions, conversions and killings of minority Hindus in the terrorist state of Pakistan not only reveals the level of religious intolerance that exists in Islamic societies but also exposes how people like Malala Yousafzai, who made so much fortune and fame out of these signature feminist movements tend to keep their voices firmly shut when it comes to condemning the atrocities against religious minorities in Muslim-majority nations.
