Bihar: Communists blow up BJP leader Anuj Kumar’s residence in Gaya, demand boycott of elections

The Communist ideology finds its roots in violence and extremism.

In a shocking incident in Bihar’s Gaya, the BJP leader Anuj Kumar’s residence was blown up by dynamite on Wednesday. Naxals associated with CPI armed with weapons allegedly blew up the local BJP MLC’s house late in the night on Wednesday.

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaya Rajeev Mishra said, “About 20-30 Naxalites of the Communist Party of India (CPI) blew up the house of BJP leader Anuj Kumar.” Gaya police have taken up the case and launched an investigation into the attack.

According to the local media reports, the Naxals attacked the BJP leader’s house at around 1 am on Wednesday. It is being told that Anuj Kumar Singh was already on the list of targets of the Naxals. The explosion at Singh’s house caused a commotion in the entire area. The blast has left the BJP leader’s house completely demolished and neighbouring villagers horribly scared. However, as per reports, there have been no casualties so far.

After blowing up the house, Naxals left with a poster asking to boycott the upcoming polls. This has been the modus operandi of Naxals for some time now. In Chhattisgarh assembly polls, similar threats of boycotting the elections were handed out to the people by the Naxals. However, the Communist Party of India has eagerly fielded candidates for the coming Lok Sabha elections including one of the members of the Tukde Tukde Gang, Kanhaiya Kumar to fight from the Beguserai seat.

The Communist ideology finds its roots in violence and extremism. Throughout the country, the Communists have been purveying and manifesting their violent ideology. In Kerala, communists blatantly indulge in hacking people holding opposing ideologies to death. In India’s capital, New Delhi, communist goons unleashed violence on ABVP workers during the JNUSU elections.
