Congress hatao, gareebi apne aap hatt jayegi: PM Modi’s frontal attack on Congress in Meerut

Coining the acronym SaRaB for the pre-poll alliance of SP, BSP, and RLD, PM Modi asked people to stay away from SaRaB for a healthy Uttar Pradesh.

In a blistering attack against the Congress party, PM Modi asserted that if Congress is eliminated, the country will automatically become poverty-free. PM Modi was in Meerut to address a public rally for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

”When I was 8-9 years old, I used to hear about the government measures to eliminate poverty. I heard it in my teenage too. When I was in my twenties, even then the government promised to remove poverty and now after 4 generations of the dynasty being in power, all that they promise is to remove poverty. According to me, if Congress is removed, poverty will be eliminated on its own,” PM Modi said.

Slamming Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s Minimum Income Guarantee scheme, PM Modi said, “The people who could not ensure Indians have bank accounts, can they be trusted to put money in your accounts?” It was PM Modi led BJP government which launched Jan Dhan Yojana under which 32.41 crore Bank accounts were registered for the first time.

In an apparent jibe against Congress’ concocted Hindu Terrorism, PM Modi alleged that the UPA government identified and categorised terrorists based on their castes and religion to determine which terrorist can be punished and which can be saved. He also asserted that when Mahamilavat(UPA) came to power, the country was rocked with multiple bomb blasts in different corners of the country.

Taking a dig at the opposition, Modi said, “Now when Modi took the fight against terrorism into their home (Pakistan) and destroyed their terror camps, the opposition leaders are weeping and asking for proof from our brave soldiers.”

Hitting out at the opposition who asked for proof on the Indian Air Force’s Balakot airstrikes, Modi alleged that these leaders are questioning the valour of our Armed Forces. Modi asserted that there’s a race among the opposition leaders as to who becomes more popular among Pakistanis. He quipped, “Does our country want those who are being lauded in Pakistan or those who laid down their lives to protect it?”

Known for coining witty acronyms to drive home his point, PM Modi came up with an ingenious acronym SaRaB to take on the coalition of Samajwadi Party(Sa), RLD(Ra) and BSP(B). PM Modi asserted that the people of Uttar Pradesh should stay away from  SaRaB(alcohol) for the good health of their state. Modi also contended that Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati’s coalition has nothing new to offer to the people. “The signboard has changed but the shop remains the same,” PM Modi said.
