The man who had taken over Saint Raphael Museum in South France and wrote threatening messages in Arabic on the walls has been arrested by the French Police. As per initial investigation, the police has ruled out terrorism as motive. Police believes that the man is ‘mentally unstable’.

A siege had taken place at Saint Raphael Museum in South France after at least one man had holed himself up inside the museum. He has allegedly written threatening messages on the building walls in Arabic.

According to the reports, the French police officials had surrounded the archaeology museum in the Mediterranean town of Saint-Raphael after a man, possibly with an accomplice broke into the museum last night.

The French police were alerted by a housekeeper, who found an Arabic inscription on the wall upon her arrival for work. One of the inscriptions written in Arabic is understood to have said ‘the museum will become a hell.’
