Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash has registered a complaint with the Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) that 2 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party assaulted him at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence last night. As per reports, a meeting was scheduled at Chief Minister’s residence at midnight last night. When Prakash raised questions regarding AAP government’s excess spending on advertisements, Kejriwal’s aides got enraged and matters allegedly escalated to fistfights.
There are reports of not only Amanatullah Khan having kicked and slapped Prakash, but even Kejriwal himself assaulting Prakash. Arvind Kejriwal has also reportedly hurled filthy abuses towards Prakash.
Khan, however, is denying the assaults and, like every other thing that goes wrong in the national capital, blamed it on the BJP.

Another AAP MLA, Saurabh Bhardwaj, who is best known for a demonstration of EVM hacking with help of a toy EVM, is also accused of assaulting the Chief Secretary. Bhardwaj, in his defence, has blamed the Centre and accused the Chief Secretary of being ‘non-cooperative’.

Meanwhile, AAP has denied the allegations and counter-accused Prakash of abusing the MLAs who were present in the meeting.

In a brazen display of arrogance, Aam Aadmi Party’s official stand on this issue is not only denying this episode but also accusing Prakash of putting these allegations on behest of Centre and BJP.
