‘Muslim Lives Matter’ at a time of BLM: Biggest lesson from this development is that Indian liberals and Western progressives are devotees of the same faith

For quite some time, it has been evident that Indian liberalism is Western progressivism with a time lag. But it has never been more obvious than in the aftermath of the violent riots in the United States. As stores were pillaged by savage thugs on the prowl, the banality of the ideology of progressivism was revealed for all to see. However, for the unwilling, seeing reality as it is is indeed an arduous task even with fully functional eyes.

While liberals in the United States were busy inciting violence, justifying riots, celebrating them and then blame Trump supporters for causing it, their Indian counterparts struggled hard to draw a false equivalence between African Americans in the United States and the Muslim population in India. There is, of course, no equivalence that can be drawn between the two given the drastically different historical context, but that does not stop the zealot from engaging in deluded pursuits.

Indian ‘liberals’ decided that it was a good opportunity to equate Indian Muslims with the Black population in the USA and trend ‘Muslim Lives Matter’. Despite the fact that Muslims in India had never been subjected to slavery and enjoy constitutional privileges that the Hindu community does not, a false parallel was sought to be drawn between the two.

Speaking of history, Islamic invaders have committed the most heinous genocides of Hindus in history and Indian Muslims even partitioned the country in 1947 to establish the Islamic State of Pakistan. Blacks in the USA have no such history. Therefore, any parallel between the two only serves to whitewash the extent of the brutality the Black community had to suffer in the USA.

However, it is not the first time that Indian Muslims have been compared to actual victims of oppression abroad. They are often compared to Jews in Nazi Germany who were slaughtered en masse in the 1940s. Again, it’s a completely horrific analogy as in Independent India and in history, it was only the Hindu community that had to suffer a genocide due to the morbid hatred that prevails in significant sections of the Muslim community.

All of this is not surprising. Progressivism is the predominant religion of the western establishment and Indian liberals are devout adherents of it. The Western establishment evangelises for progressivism through the institutional mediums for spreading a faith. Its social institutions, the business corporations, the Universities, the entertainment industry, the mainstream media, every significant institution coordinates with each other to spread the doctrine of progressivism, which they consider sacred.

Thus, adherents of the religion of Progressivism in India believe Narendra Modi is “literally Hitler” while those in the United States consider Donald Trump to be the same. The Citizenship Amendment Act in India is interpreted as the Nuremberg Laws while the US President’s views on illegal immigration and border security garner much hate.

In a similar vein, Hindus are equated to White Supremacists despite the fact that these two groups loathe each other and can often be found involved in intense arguments, which often turn abusive, on social media. The racial hatred that Hindus suffer from White Supremacists in the West also does not affect such malicious comparisons.

It’s important to understand in this context that Progressivism is truly an internationalist religion. When we speak of progressivism, we are not speaking of a political ideology here, we are speaking of a counter-religion with its own set of Gods, the Great Evil, its doomsday theories, priests, preachers and evangelicals. Together, they form the Cathedral.

Of course, progressivism is adapted to the local context as per necessities just as Christian missionaries often present Jesus Christ as Krishna or Vishnu and other Hindu Gods. In the West, the ‘White Male’ is considered the demon on which is attributed the cause of every single negative attribute. Patriarchy, Racism, predatory and crony Capitalism, everything is the fault of the White Male.In India, Upper Caste Hindu Men in general and Brahmin Men in particular are blamed for all social evils. ‘Smash Brahminical Patriarchy,’ they scream while opposing a ban on Triple Talaq. ‘Smash Brahminism’, they yell while indulging in genocidal rhetoric against Brahmins. It is a feature and not a bug of the religion of progressivism.

Thus, when George Floyd was murdered by the Police in the United States and a chorus of Black Lives Matter resounded across the country, liberals in India immediately jumped in the bandwagon and chanted Muslim Lives Matter. Because progressivism mandates that the Muslim community is the designated victim group in India, despite the lack of any equivalence between the two situations.

Despite such differences on the surface, the core of it always remains the same. The Humanities professors at Universities are the priests of the religion of progressivism everywhere and it is they who have been tasked with the responsibility of transmitting their ideologies across generations. The mainstream media and journalists are the preachers, the entertainers are the evangelicals, Multiculturalism and Rainbow Feminism are its Gods and Global Warming its own version of the Doomsday Apocalypse.

Thus, while there are certain differences on the surface, at the heart of it, Indian liberalism and progressivism in the West are just the same. Therefore, we should not be surprised when Muslims in India re equated with the Black population in the United States. Or when Narendra Modi is equated to Adolf Hitler. These are religious zealots we are talking about here and religious zealots are often out of touch with reality.

IB officer Ankit Sharma was specifically targeted by a mob led by Tahir Hussain, deep-rooted conspiracy behind the murder: Charge-sheet by Delhi Police

Delhi Police Crime Branch filed a charge-sheet in the murder case of IB official Ankit Sharma and Rajdhani school on Wednesday with the Metropolitan Magistrate at the Karkardooma Court in Delhi. According to the charge sheet, Ankit Sharma was specifically targeted by a mob led by suspended AAP leader Tahir Hussain, and there was a deep-rooted conspiracy behind his murder.

The FIR in the murder case of Ankit Sharma was filed on February 26 at Dayalpur police station. Delhi police had filed two charge sheets yesterday in relation to the Delhi riots.

The charge sheet says that Ankit Sharma was murdered outside the residence of Tahir Hussain in the Khajuri Khas area on February 25. After stabbing him for multiple times, the mob threw his body in the nearby drain. A witness standing at a distance on a terrace captured the video on his mobile in which a mob is seen dumping the deceased body into the drain. The dead body was recovered from the drain the next morning.

Charge sheet in Ankit Sharma murder case

The post-mortem report claimed that there were 51 sharp and blunt injuries found on the Ankit Sharma’s body. Ten people including ex-AAP councillor Tahir Hussain have been arrested in this case. Further investigation has revealed that there is a deep-rooted conspiracy behind the riot and the murder of IB Official Ankit Sharma who was a very familiar face in the area. The charge sheet says that he was specifically targeted by the mob led by Tahir Hussain who was then politician of Aam Aadmi Party and sitting councillor in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, Delhi.

During the investigation, the knife which was used to stab Ankit Sharma and his blood-stained clothes of the murderer was recovered. Another knife and Tahir Hussain’s pistol was recovered in a separate case.

The investigation has revealed that Tahir Hussain is the main person who had been instigating the mob both on 24 and 25 of February in the Chand Bagh area. Another charge sheet against him has been filed for orchestrating riots on 24 February.

Another charge sheet filed in the Rajdhani school case

Another charge-sheet which was filed on Wednesday is of Rajdhani school case. The FIR was lodged on March 5 in the riots that took place on February 24 outside the premises of Rajdhani school Shiv Vihar, New Mustafabad, Delhi. The FIR was registered on the complaint filed by the owner and manager of DRP Convent school which is adjacent to the Rajdhani school building. Allegedly, the mob had camped inside and fired bullets on the terrace of Rajdhani school. They used the terrace of Rajdhani school to throw petrol bombs, acid, bricks, stones, and other missiles using an improvised large iron catapult installed there. The mob used ropes to climb down from the roof of Rajdhani school into the compound of DRP convent school and set the school on fire.

The charge sheet says that on 24 February, many children from Muslim families had left the school early, along with their parents, which indicate that the riot was pre-planned. Presence of Glass bottles for Molotov cocktails, rope and iron catapult on the terrace of Rajdhani school point towards the execution of a well-planned strategy and assault on the other party, the charge sheet asserts.

It is also alleged that the rioters looted the computers from the DRP Convent school and much more expensive assets. The Mob also burned down the building of Anil sweets which was standing exact opposite of Rajdhani school. An employee of Anil Sweets Dilbar Negi was trapped and killed inside the building. His charred body was found by police later.

The owner of the Rajdhani school Faisal Farooque along with eighteen persons was arrested in this case. Investigations revealed that Faisal Farooque planned to orchestrate riots in and around the Rajdhani school area. On his instruction both the buildings of DRP Convent school and Anil sweets were set on fire, the statement of the witnesses revealed. His call details revealed his links with prominent members of Popular Front of India, Pinjra tod group, Jamia Coordination Committee, Hazrat Nizamuddin Markaz, and some other fundamental Muslim clerics.

Kerala: Police identify WhatsApp group circulating child pornography, 3 persons including admin arrested

In a special drive conducted by the Kerala police with the help of Interpol, 30 people involved in circulating child pornography through a WhatsApp group have been identified and three persons, including the group administrator, were arrested in connection with the case.

Following the arrest, the Kerala police began investigating the case and followed it up with various police stations in the district. During investigation 30 other members of the WhatsApp group were identified.

According to a report by Mathrubhumi, the group members, all belonging to the age group of 22-45 years, are natives of Kuttippuram, Kalpakanchery, Vazhakkad, Manjeri, Edavanna, Areekode, Vengara and Nilambur.

“The members were added to the group under strict conditions. Only those who are acquaintances and interested to watch child porn were added into the group,” a Malappuram cyber cell official who is in charge of the case was qoted by Mathrubhumi.

Meanwhile, the officer also confirmed that over 300 people from Malappuram, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kozhikode and several foreign nationals will also be booked in the case.

This information that a child porn group was operating in Kerala was initially traced by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). UNICEF passed the information to the Interpol, which in turn forwarded it to Kerala’s Additional Deputy General of Police (ADGP), Manoj Abraham.

Following this, the Kozhikode Cyberdome and Changaramkulam police investigated and nabbed three members of the Whatsapp group including the group admin.

Kerala police registered cases against 58 for sharing child pornography as part of operation ‘paedophile-hunt’

Last year too, cases had been registered by the Kerala police against as many as 58 people for sharing child pornography with others through various social media platforms.

The crackdown was a part of operation ‘P-hunt’ (paedophile hunt) initiated by Cyberdome, a wing of the Kerala Police on June 11, 2019, wherein Kerala police, to curb the menace of cybercrime involving sexual attacks on children, joined hands with the Interpol, Crimes against Children Unit and the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.

Then too, the operation was led by the Additional Deputy General of Police (ADGP) Manoj Abraham under the supervision of Deputy General of Police (DGP) Loknath Behara.

Abraham said that when his team came across websites on the darknet they decided to launch the operation. Dark web or darknet refers to encrypted online content that is not indexed by conventional search engines.

He said that the team came across one such group which had a total of five lakh members, 126 of whom were from Kerala. Administrators of this group live in Pakistan and other European countries, added the police officer.

Though it was difficult to track members at first since they use fake identities and pseudonyms to conceal their identities, Kerala Police had trained with Interpol and other agencies and managed to crack down on the members of the group, revealed Abraham.

Recently India had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the USA to combat online child pornography. Last year, five such websites were shut down by the central government on receiving tip-offs from the cyber portal of National Crime Records Bureau. Five separate FIRs have been lodged against these websites under various sections of the Information Technology Act.

Delhi: Security increased and police deployed at Shaheen Bagh, Jamia Nagar as anti-CAA lobby plan protests against CAA, UAPA

A contingent of Delhi Police has been deployed at New Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area after there were reports that anti-CAA lobby was planning to resume its protests from Wednesday, June 3, 2020 demanding scraping of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Nationwide protests planned from June 3

According to the reports, a force of 100 policemen have been deployed at the protest site at Shaheen Bagh and security has been increased in the surrounding areas of Jamia Nagar in the wake of intelligence reports that the organisers could stage another protest at the site following the ease of restrictions pertaining to coronavirus lockdown.

Reportedly, the police officials said that there were already few women had assembled the spot. However, after a painstaking effort by the police present at the spot, the women were sent back from the protest site. Delhi Police Joint Commissioner Devesh Shrivastava was also at the spot.

Speaking to OpIndia, Delhi Police personnel confirmed that that there was an alert issued by Intelligence Bureau and hence a team of security was deployed at Shaheen Bagh and neighbouring areas of Jamia Nagar. The Delhi Police said that while they could not say for sure the people gathered were protestors, but ample measures are taken to ensure law and order.

Reports of large scale protest against arrest of accused in Anti-Hindu rioters

Earlier, there were also reports that the anti-CAA lobby was planning to organise a nationwide campaign to protest against the judicial action initiated against the anti-Hindu rioters and mobsters by the central government.

As soon as the government announced a phased removal of coronavirus lockdown, the anti-CAA lobby has come out of the woodwork, preparing to organise a nationwide campaign to protest against the judicial action initiated against the anti-CAA rioters and mobsters by the central government.

Reportedly, the anti-India lobby had called for a mass protest movement even as the country gears itself up for revival after staggering under the economic shadow of coronavirus lockdown. The protest termed as ‘Sab Yaad Rakha Jaega’ was called by the anti-CAA demonstrators on June 3 on the pretext of opposing the “repression on anti-CAA activists and democratic voices of dissent”.

The anti-CAA lobby has called to the organisations that have pledged their support to the cause to organise protests in their respective campuses or areas on June 3 at 12 PM while maintaining norms of social distancing.

The release of all anti-CAA activists, immediate attention to the plight of migrant workers and toiling masses instead of repression of democratic voices of dissent, arrests of the real culprits of the Delhi riots, the release of political prisoners, and repealing of CAA-NPR-NRC, as well as the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act(UAPA), are the slated demand posed by the group.

Anti-India protests at Shaheen Bagh

The Shaheen Bagh protests were actually passed as an organic protest in a bid to ‘save the constitution’ after the Modi government passed the historic Citizenship Amendment Act. Initially, the protest started as a peaceful protest against the Modi government. However, the masks began to fall off as it was revealed that it was all staged.

OpIndia had reported on how this was a carefully crafted plan to humanise the violent protestors as a conversation in a WhatsApp group of JNU students right after the Ayodhya verdict gave a clearer picture of how the Shaheen Bagh ‘organic’ protests blocking the highway has culminated.

The protests at Shaheen Bagh have turned blatantly communal as it was exposed just a few days back with protestors shouting slogans of “Jinnah Wali Azadi”, exposing the claims of “liberal-secular” media, who had earlier passed of these protests as peaceful. Later, another Hinduphobic poster came up at the protest site in which the Hindu Swastika was depicted wrongfully and shown crushed by Hindu women in Burkha.

Scientist Anand Ranganathan exposes hate, selectivity, lies, and propaganda of ‘kitty party journalist’ Saba Naqvi. Watch video

Saba Naqvi, a troll masquerading as a ‘journalist’ had an embarrassing moment on TV on Tuesday as her propaganda and lies got exposed on national television.

On Tuesday, Times Now in its daily show ‘India Upfront’ debated on the issue of Delhi police charge sheeting against AAP leader Tahir Hussain, anti-India propagandist Umar Khalid, ultra-left wing groups such as Pinjra Tod in the Anti-Hindu Delhi riots case.

During the debate, Saba Naqvi, known for her affinity towards the Aam Aadmi Party, slammed the Delhi police for charge-sheeting the accused including AAP leader Tahir Hussain and others to state no one in the country believed in the concocted claims made by the Delhi police in its charge-sheet pertaining to Anti-Hindu Delhi riots. She also kept referring to riots as a ‘civil rights movement’ as she continued to claim that the Delhi Police has been one-sided during the investigation.

Saba Naqvi resorted to her usual rhetorics by stating that it was Muslims who faced the worst in the riots and the charge-sheet ignored the alleged atrocities committed against the Muslims during the anti-Hindu riots.

Further, Naqvi claimed that the charge-sheet against the accused including AAP leader Tahir Hussain was an attempt by the Modi government to crush the civil rights movement that has been taking place in the country. The alleged journalist also stated that the charge-sheet is just an exercise to propagate concocted charges against the accused, especially by the media and accused the Times Now network, panellists including esteemed scientist Dr Anand Ranganathan of being BJP’s spokesperson.

The uncalled personal attacks by Saba Navi against him, infuriated Dr Anand Ranganathan, who not only exposed the hate, selectivity, lies, and propaganda of Saba Naqvi, but also called her ‘Kitty-party journalist’, leaving the pro-Aam Aadmi Party journalist embarrassed.

Prof Ranganathan said that Saba Naqvi has only ever studied how to peddle fake news and propaganda and also took a dig at her by stating that she “raked the blackboard of journalism every night with her manicured finger”.

“I do not know about Tahir Hussain, but she is definitely a history sheeter,” said Dr Anand Ranganathan exposing ‘journalist’ Saba Naqvi by giving a list of lies and selective propaganda peddled by the pro-Aap journalist.

During the debate, Dr Ranganathan exposed Saba Naqvi as he quoted how the alleged ‘journalist had asked for a referendum in Kashmir and also peddled fake news on Godhra riots, fake Church attacks and highlighted the selectivity of Naqvi in reporting communal incidents.

“She is selective to the point of being insane, outraging only on Hindu hate crimes, while being silent over 150 hate crimes perpetrated on Hindus by Muslim mobs,” said Dr Ranganathan.

He further added, “Deep down she hates Kafirs, I don’t know which books she reads every morning that makes her hate Kafir so much. After being repeatedly faded out, this ‘Kitty-Party journalist’ is not going to be quiet”.

Delhi police files charge-sheet in Anti-Hindu Delhi riots

On Tuesday, the Delhi police registered a charge-sheet in connection with the Anti-Hindu Delhi riots that were carried out in the national capital in February this year.

One of the charge-sheets includes the name of Ex-AAP councillor Tahir Hussain on the recommendations of SIT alleging that he funded the Chand-Bagh riots. The 1030 page charge sheet said that Tahir Hussain not only funded the riots, but he was the mastermind behind it and he was controlling and directing the violence during the riots.

Along with Tahir Hussain, 15 more accused including his brother Shah Alam has been named for the involvement in fuming the riots that claimed the lives of 53 people. The brothers of Tahir Hussain, Shah Aalam and Gulfam were reportedly given the responsibility for arson.

The investigation into the riots that took place in Jafrabad revealed the involvement of a certain “Pinjra Tod Group”, a far-left organisation, in inciting the riots in the region. The Delhi Police had recently arrested two persons – Natasha Narwal and Devangna Kalita in connection with the riots that ensued in Jafrabad.

Comparing African Americans to Indian Muslims in India is like reading history upside down

In America, the outpouring of public anger and outrage continues. The killing of an unarmed black man by a white police officer has brought back America’s worst memories, as well as the worst of its lived realities. On the one hand, the history of slavery and segregation. On the other, the everyday prejudice and discrimination faced by African Americans in the United States.

We have to ask ourselves: was the case of George Floyd really so different from that of Ankit Sharma?

You may have already forgotten who Ankit Sharma was and how many wounds there were on his body when it was dumped into a drain in Delhi. Never mind. It happens. I guess you cannot name a single person who perished inside S-6 compartment of Sabarmati Express at Signal Falia near Godhra Railway station on Feb 27, 2002.

Never mind.

Today, everything is global. So we Indians cannot stop talking about what is happening in the United States. Questions about race, inequality and social justice in America have lit up both mainstream and social media in India.

Amid all this, a curious phenomenon has emerged. Indian liberal elites are drawing parallels between African Americans and Indian Muslims. This is shocking, insensitive, ill-informed and an insult to the oppressed people throughout history.

Slavery Vs the ruling class

In the US, African Americans have faced slavery and segregation.

In India, Muslims have been the traditional ruling class.

In India, it is Hindus who have faced subjugation. The ruling class imposed Jaziya tax on Hindu subjects. Numerous temples were destroyed. Ultimately, Partition happened. Pakistan was set up as an apartheid state. Millions of Hindus fled and sought refuge in India.

The last major flight of Hindus happened between 1989 and 1991. That’s when lakhs of Hindus had to flee their homes in the only Muslim majority state in independent India. That was barely thirty years ago. How much more is needed before Indian society comes to accept the reality of the oppression faced by Hindus?

And yet, why is the Indian elite reading history upside down? How did they manage to cast Indian Muslims as victims of Hindu oppression?

Denying history

Indeed, there is a lot that we in India can learn from the discourse that is currently happening in America. For one, America does not deny the dark chapters of its history. The horror of slavery and segregation is taught in great detail. The focus is on making sure that everyone knows what happened. So that it never happens again.

In India, we see quite the opposite. Everything from our history books to newspapers make a huge effort to deny and cover up the atrocities faced by Hindus. A myth of “Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb” has been imposed upon our minds. The oppressive rulers are cast as heroes. Even Aurangazeb. A certain historian, for example, has recently built a career out of glorifying him. In fact, she argues, in all seriousness, that Aurangazeb understood freedom of religion long before the modern world did.

Only recently, the ground in Ayodhya was dug up and idols emerged. Eminent historians and intellectuals had been stonewalling it for decades.

On the contrary, American historians have taken great pains to document the injustices of slavery. They have not tried to sugarcoat it, nor make excuses for it.

Multiple systems of privilege

American history texts do not speak of an imaginary utopia where black and white folks lived together in harmony. But we have the myth of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb.

Now this does not mean individual Muslims and Hindus were never nice to each other. I am sure there were several white plantation owners who treated their slaves humanely. But this is not an excuse to change the broad contours of history. One was the slave owner; the other was the slave. One class paid Jaziya tax; the other collected it.

Whenever the painful history of Hindus is brought up, the Indian intellectual elite has another diversionary arrow in its quiver: talking about the caste oppression in Hindu society.

As if caste oppression within Hindu society somehow negates the oppression that they have faced from outside.

Indeed, multiple systems of privilege exist independently in society at the same time. And they don’t cancel each other out.

This is really easy to understand. For instance, factory workers in England had miserable working conditions during the industrial revolution. At the same time, Britain put its colonial grip over India. A single person can be on the privileged side of one divide and on the oppressed side of another. One does not cancel out the other.

The modern term for this phenomenon is “intersectionality.” The Indian elite should really stay up to date on the latest in the world of wokeness.

Here is a simpler example. There’s male privilege in every community. Does pointing out male privilege cancel out the history of caste oppression? That’s absurd. The Indian elite does not really want to argue. They just want to change the subject. Because they know they have a lot to hide.

Watch out! The Indian elite is not just hiding how Hindus faced oppression as a community. They are just as invested in supporting the injustices that Indian “secularism” imposes on all disadvantaged sections, including backward castes.

For example, minority institutions such as Aligarh Muslim University do not have SC/ST quotas. Even though these are fully government-run institutions.

Indian liberals supported Article 370 that discriminated against Dalits

Do not forget how Indian liberals supported Article 370. Members of the Valmiki community were invited to Kashmir in 1957 to take up jobs as sanitation workers. However they and their descendants were not allowed to have permanent residency certificates. They could not buy land or take up any government job other than being sanitation workers. Even the historic 2018 Supreme Court verdict legalizing homosexuality did not apply to Jammu and Kashmir. Because of Article 370.

Don’t forget how liberals supported Triple Talaq. Don’t forget that kids from poor families cannot avail their rights under RTE in minority-run schools. Yes, Indian “secularism” will even shut the door on a five-year-old kid from a poor family, who is seeking an education.

In other words, Indian ‘secularism’ has been a yoke on nearly everyone’s shoulders. On the shoulders of Hindus, backward castes, women, LGBTQ, the poor. Indian ‘secularism’ has only ever helped Islamist patriarchy.

In America, people are now speaking loudly against white privilege. When will India learn?

Here’s how liberals in USA were celebrating, justifying and inciting riots after George Floyd’s death

The murder of George Floyd in the USA has led to a wave of riots in the United States. Violent mobs have rampaged through the streets pillaging and looting stores and engaging in vandalism and arson. During all of this, liberals were celebrating the spree of violence, justifying it, inciting riots but eventually, they decided to blame Trump supporters for initiating the riots.

But the Internet does not forget. There are screenshots of numerous tweets that are available which prove that liberals with verified handles were openly inciting violence and encouraging it. therefore, they cannot get away by blaming anyone else for the riots. Former ESPN NBA reporter Chris Palmer said on Twitter, “Burn that shit down” speaking of a police precinct that was burnt down. Later, when the violence reached his vicinity, he hypocritically panicked and called the rioters ‘animals’.

An Indian American ‘stand up comic’ urged rioters to ‘burn down white neighbourhoods’ so that “companies are afraid to move back there”. He encouraged rioters to do that so that when property prices fall as a consequence, they can be bought at cheap prices.

The Fairfax Democrats, which is an important unit of the Democrat party, called the riots “an integral part of the country’s march towards progress”. They appear to believe that such behaviour is the proper course of action to honour the legacy of George Floyd.

Feminist poet Olivia Gatwood urged rioters to “burn it down”. She also said, “F*** property” and “F*** Cops”. She has since then locked her account.

The Base, which is an anarchist centre in Brooklyn, opined that it is the responsibility of all “revolutionary” organisations and collectives to “support and push the rebellion as far as possible”. “Anyone peace policing and stifling revolt is an agent of the state and should be treated as such,” they opined.

The tweet by The Base

The son of Martin Luther King Jr. said that a “riot is the language of the unheard”. He claims to be a ‘global human rights leader’.

The tweet by the son of Martin Luther King Jr.

Colin Kaepernick, controversial American football player, did not shy away from inciting violence either. He said, “The cries for peace will rain down, and when they do, they will land on deaf ears, because your violence has brought this resistance. We have the right to fight back!” It is not clear, however, how looting and destroying Black communities help George Floyd.

The tweet by Colin Kaepernick

The tweets presented here are only a microcosm of the open incitement to violence peddled by liberals on social media. They now seek to blame Donald Trump and his supporters for the riots in order to escape taking the blame for the same. Looting and riots were justified and glorified on Twitter during the same.

Twitter, however, which was quick to censor US President Donald Trump’s tweet for allegedly inciting violence, did not take any action on verified liberal handles that were deliberately encouraging violence. Apart from the hypocrisy of liberals, it also goes on to demonstrate the dual standards of censorship that is applied by social media giants.

“Chacha hai, aisa kabhi nahin kar sakte,” Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s niece alleges torture, sexual assault by his brother, says the actor did not support her

As per the report published in TOI, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s niece has alleged torture and sexual abuse by one of her uncles, Nawazuddin’s brother, when she was a child. She told ETimes that a sexual harassment complaint had been filed against her uncle. She has alleged that she was sexually harassed in her childhood by her uncle.

In the conversation, she mentioned that when she was two years old, her parents got divorced. Her stepmother tortured her a lot. As a child, she was unable to understand what her uncle was doing to her. However, when she grew up, she realised it was a different kind of touch. She claimed there was violence too.

False cases against in-laws

Nawazuddin’s niece has a court marriage. She also claimed that her father and her uncle, Nawazuddin are harassing her in-laws too. She alleges that her father and Nawazuddin have filed false cases to harass her in-laws and that they never believed her when she talked about the childhood sexual assault.

“My father and the rest of the family never believed me. Every six months, my father files some cases against my in-laws,” She told ET. She further alleged that when she told Nawazuddin about the childhood trauma she went through, even he did not believe her. “Chacha hai, aisa kabhi nahi kar sakte” (He is your uncle. He cannot do anything like this.) Nawazuddin reportedly told her when she confided in him about the sexual assault by his brother.

Recently, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, filed for divorce and alleged that she had faced mental and physical torture by her in-laws. Aaliya also mentioned that she changed her name back to Anjana Kishor Pandey and did not want to be reminded that she is using someone’s identity for her benefit.

George Floyd case: Solidarity posts by social media users backfire as crucial information gets lost under the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag

The unfortunate killing of George Flyod in Minneapolis by a White American cop has once again brought to the fore the festering racial discrimination against the Black Americans. The incident became a rallying point for Americans longing for the fulfilment of one of their country’s foundational principles of the right to life, liberty and happiness.

Scores of demonstrators have hit the streets demanding equality and end of racial discrimination that has so far eluded the American society. However, soon the protests turned violent and many have taken advantage of the ensuing chaos to loot and ransack shops in many cities across the country. Many protesters have also taken to social media websites to voice their support for the Black population of the country who appear increasingly beleaguered with a surge in ethnic intolerance towards them.

Hashtags such as #BlackLivesMatter and #BLM have emerged on social media websites such as Twitter, Instagram and other platforms where people are showing solidarity with the Black community against all forms of racism, violence and bigotry. Channelling the collective fury over the death of George Floyd, artists, executives, and companies from across the music business called out to participate for a silent protest on Tuesday— though the lack of clear messaging about the protest made it open to more than one interpretation.

Music Industry in US called for Blackout Tuesday(Source: CNN)

Heeding to the Blackout Tuesday called by the music industry, a raft of social media users, especially on Instagram, shared pictures of black squares and a black screen to express their solidarity with the black victims of police brutality. But several of them tagged their posts with #BlackLivesMatter and #BLM, drowning out the vital information about the protests, organization donations, and document police violence.

While the posts containing black squares and screens by users may be well-intentioned, several analysts and social media users highlighted that sharing black pictures with a bunch of important hashtags clogs the information channel and renders the hashtags insignificant.

A Twitter user pointed out how oodles of posts containing black squares and boxes posted by well-meaning Instagram users overwhelmed the hashtags with blank images and drowned out the crucial information related to protests and online campaign against the pervasive racial discrimination.

A Twitter user @anthoknees pointed out the problem of sharing black images as a mark of hmage to the victims of racial discrimination. He urged users to shun sharing such images which could intentionally or unintentionally make the vital information used on ground and online obscure.

Another Twitter user, Tatianna, too, tweeted that sharing black squares and boxes on Instagram was making the BLM hashtag useless. She urged people to not use the important hashtags so critical information is not drowned beneath the sea of solidarity messages.

Masood Azhar’s nephew Ismail Alvi alias Fauji Bhai, IED expert behind the 2019 Pulwama attack, killed by security forces in J&K

In a massive success for the Indian security forces, Islamic terrorist Mohammad Ismail Alvi alias Fauji Bhai aka Lambu, who is the nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar has been killed by security forces in an encounter in J&K’s Pulwama.

According to the reports, Ismail Alvi was the mastermind behind the Pulwama terror attack and it is also believed that the Jaish terrorist had the assembled IED that was used in the February 2019 terror attack that killed 40 CRPF Jawans.

“Ismail is an IED expert and helped other bombers of the Pulwama attack to fit the bomb in Maruti Eeco van,” an army officer had revealed.

It is also reported that Mohammad Ismail Alvi, alias Lambu, was also involved in the last week’s failed bombing in Pulwama’s Ayangund area in Jammu and Kashmir. “We have information that Ismail Lambu planned to carry out similar car bombing in one of the camps or a convoy. The bomb was placed in the Santro car but it was detected on time in the wee hours on Thursday,” another officer said.

On Wednesday, the security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the Kangan area in the south Kashmir district in the morning following information about the presence of Jaish terrorists. The search operation turned into an encounter as terrorists opened fire towards the forces, who retaliated and killed three Jaish terrorists in the encounter.

The identity of the other terrorists is being ascertained by the security forces. The forces have recovered incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition from the site of the encounter.

Fauji baba alias Ismail was behind the recent foiled terror attack

The encounter of Ismail alias Fauji Bhai comes just a week after the Jammu and Kashmir police in a joint operation with security forces had averted a major attack after they received information that a terrorist was moving in a car laden with explosives.

According to the reports, Ismail Alvi, who is the current head of the Jaish in the Valley, had filled the car with explosives in order to carry out a terror attack in the valley similar to the earlier 2019 Pulwama attack.

The initial investigations had revealed that the white Santro car in which IED was fitted by Ismail belonged to Hizbul Mujhauddin terrorist Hidayatullah Malik.

The suspected vehicle arrived at night and a few rounds of bullets were fired at it. The driver abandoned the vehicle a bit further down the road and managed to escape in the darkness.

On inspection, the car was found to be carrying at least 40 kg explosives in a drum. The attempted terror attack has a great resemblance to the one in Pulwama where a vehicle-borne IED was used in a suicide attack.

Later,  the vehicle was exploded in-situ by bomb disposal squads. The controlled explosion, which was video recorded, completely destroyed the car, giving the indication the power of the bomb it was carrying.

Further, according to security forces, Lambu, who is often referred to as Ismail Bhai, came to India sometime in late 2018 and helped Pulwama attack co-conspirators Mudassir Khan, Khalid, and Mohammad Umar Farooq to obtain explosive material including gelatin sticks from stone quarries and ammonium nitrate to build IEDs to carry out attacks in Pulwama.
