Twitter suspends young boy’s account after he was doxxed and harassed by AltNews founder Pratik Sinha and Islamists

Altnews founder Pratik Sinha today stirred a hornet’s nest after he doxxed several unsuspecting users on Twitter simply because he did not agree with their political views.

Hours after Sinha disclosed the identities of these anonymous accounts, a barrage of threats and invectives have started being hurled at them, evidently by coordinated Islamist radicals online opposing the ideology professed by these social media users. One of the influencers, who goes by the Twitter handle of @squintneon, has already started receiving threats from online jihadists, abusing him and forewarning him of dire consequences since his identity is now established.

Screenshot of SquintNeon’s tweet

Squint Neon believes his elaborate Twitter thread exposing Islamists has elicited such a reaction from Alrnews’ Pratik Sinha. Mocking the duplicity of liberals in upholding FoE uniformly, he says, “Liberals’ guide to FOE- Criticise Leftist, face the Islamists.” He has also asserted that he has been expressing his opinions and his ideology in a non-abusive manner and this unwarranted doxing by Pratik Sinha (@free_thinker) and his accomplice Mohammed Zubair(@Zoo_bear) have unleashed a legion of Islamists on his TL, effectively putting him and his family in peril.

According to Squint Neon, Pratik and Zubair were provoked by his and others’ posts exposing the blatant pandering of Islamists by the leftist cabal. Pratik Sinha thus made their private details public, allegedly to intimidate them and force them into silence and conform to his ideals.

Now, in a strange twist of events, after being doxxed and hounded by AltNews founder Pratik Sinha and receiving death threats by the trolls that were unleashed on him, Twitter has chosen to suspend SquintNeon’s account instead of acting against trolls like Pratik.

It was indeed shocking that Twitter decided to suspend the account of the victim who was shamelessly doxxed by Pratik Sinha and got death threats because of it instead of suspending the accounts that doxxed him, hounded him, harassed him and issued death threats.

Several people on Twitter alluded to the biased decision of the social media giant Twitter which has been caught on more than one occasion being biased against conservatives, in India or abroad. In fact, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, besides getting into trouble during his India trip, had earlier admitted that their employees have a strong left bias.

BJP MP from East Delhi also questioned Twitter for its inexplicable decision.

In fact, one of the other Twitter users who was doxxed by Pratik Sinha pointed out that he had reported several abusive tweets by ‘ZooBear’, the co-founder of AltNews and despite getting notifications that ‘ZooBear’ had violated Twitter rules, no action was taken against him.

By revealing one’s identity against his/her consent, the liberal cabal’s blue-eyed man, Pratik Sinha has not only put the lives of these people under threat but he has also brazenly violated their ‘Right to Privacy’- the right that accords them to withhold their identity. Now, Twitter, by suspending the young boy’s account has reiterated the fact that freedom of expression is granted to all, except the ones who might not hold the same political views as the leftist ecosystem.

AgustaWestland case: Lawyer Gautam Khaitan arrested by ED on money laundering charges

The AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam has been nothing short of a fast-paced thriller ever since middleman Christian Michel was extradited to India from Dubai. Several revelations came to light, from the names of “Italian Lady”, to “Italian Lady’s son R“. From how Christian Michel was lobbying for the Eurofighter and against the Rafale deal, to how he had unbridled access to the PMO under Congress regime, the CCS and even the investigative agencies. Now, an important player of the AgustaWestland scam, lawyer Gautam Khaitan, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Lawyer Gautam Khaitan, a co-accused in the Agusta Westland Chopper scam has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on charges of money laundering. Earlier, sleuths had raided several offices and premises related to Khaitan in the Delhi-NCR area. Per reports, the sleuths have uncovered evidence that Gautam Khaitan not only got kickbacks in the AgustaWestland chopper scam but also in various other defence deals during the Congress era.

Gautam Khaitan has been chargesheeted by both the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the AgustaWestland Chopper scam where the direct involvement of the Congress party and the Gandhis is suspected.

Khaitan was arrested in September 2014 for his involvement in the AgustaWestland deal. He was then released on bail in January 2015 and was again arrested again along with Sanjeev Tyagi on December 9, 2016, by CBI.

The chargesheet had mentioned that the kickbacks received by Gautam Khaitan were masked by raising fictitious invoices to ensure that the kickbacks look like untainted money. Fake engineering contracts were created to hide the kickbacks paid by AgustaWestland to companies directly controlled by Khaitan and his associate Rajiv Saxena, a co-accused in the case.

In response to the Letter Rogatory written by India, responses of documents were received from Mauritius, Singapore and Switzerland. The witnesses had spilt the beans on how Khaitan used to launder money.

In Christian Michel’s 2009 correspondence in which he wrote to his fellow middleman, Guido Ralph Haschke. In this correspondence dated December 6th 2009, had asked Hashcke to distance himself from a co-accused in the AgustaWestland Chopper scam, lawyer Gautam Khaitan.

Christian Michel had written to Hashcke because according to him, Khaitan, in cahoots with his ‘friend’ within the Enforcement Directorate (ED) tried to organise a raid against real estate firm Emaar EGF a month before the company launched its Initial Public Offer (IPO). He had also written that the MGF family had learnt of this move.

He had also reportedly written that the “family” employed by Hashcke had been told to “get lost” by Emaar MGF.

The dispatch reportedly reads, “The despatch reads, “I am deeply concerned about this developing situation with Emaar. I wanted to warn you to resign as a nonexecutive director in India two weeks ago but I have been waiting for a certain document to show you how bad the situation is. ..” Michel goes on to warn “the family behind MGF Emaar’s partner are an old, powerful and rich Delhi family. They engaged Khaitan, the lawyers who you recommended to take over AgustaWestland’s legal work. The MGF family thought Khaitan would help them launch their IPO and I know that Khaitan recommended that you become a non-executive”.

Fact Check: Is the newspaper clip headlined ‘Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter joins family firm’ genuine?

On January 23rd, Congress president Rahul Gandhi had appointed his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh East. The development had attracted varied reactions like the newspaper clipping that went viral, headlined “Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter joins family firm”.

While the BJP criticised the move as another example of dynastic politics in the Congress party, an extremely jubilant mood was seen among Congress workers and a section of pro-Congress media.

Several op-eds were written in media claiming how the entry of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra can revive the fortunes of the Congress party, she was showered with attributes like classy, smart, charismatic, aggressive, Congress’ Brahmastra and so on. Several people noted that her resemblance to Indira Gandhi will also be beneficial to the party.

Amid this cacophony, a newspaper clip went viral on social media. The article printed in a newspaper reports the elevation of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra with a rather unusual headline, “Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter joins family firm”.

At the bottom of the image, the “Press in Newzealand has nailed it..!” is written in red colour, informing that this is a newspaper from New Zealand. The image of the newspaper was widely circulated on social media sites, including WhatsApp.

The newspaper clip going viral on social media

But is the clip referring to the Congress party as ‘family firm’ true? We have seen several cases of fake newspaper clips circulated on social media. Therefore, we decided to check if this particular news item was genuine or fake.

This forward was also doing the rounds on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp message received with the newspaper clipping

When we did a web search using the text seen in the clip, we found a positive result, which means the news item is not fake. The news item with that headline was indeed published in The Press, a newspaper published from Christchurch, New Zealand. The Press is the highest circulated newspaper in South Island, which is the largest landmass in the island nation.

Although the digital version of the newspaper can be viewed only with a paid subscription, a text version of the news item can be found on Pressreader, a digital media distribution house. Pressreader has agreements with over 6,300 newspaper and magazine publishers from around the world and the market, sell, print their publications around the world and over the internet.

The news about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s appointment was published with the headline “Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter joins family firm” on page 16 of the January 25, 2019 edition of the newspaper.

Image of The Press where the article appeared

Therefore, the newspaper clip circulating on social media is genuine, The Press indeed referred to the Congress party as the family firm of the Gandhi family.

But why would a newspaper from New Zealand choose such a headline? When we researched further, we found that actually The Press had picked up the news item from a report published on January 24 in The Daily Telegraph from the UK (United Kingdom), including the headline. The headline used by The Daily Telegraph for a report written by Rahul Bedi was “Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter joins the family firm to help oust Modi”.

We have written ‘was’ because The Daily Telegraph has changed the headline of the report now, which can be read here. But the e-paper version of the report still carries the original headline, a screenshot of which is given below.

The report by The Daily Telegraph with the original headline

The Press had used two paragraphs from the longer report by The Daily Telegraph, and the headline omitting the last part. Therefore, The Daily Telegraph from the UK should get the credit for the interesting headline of the news report, not The Press from the New Zealand.

Padma Bhushan for Nambi Narayan, scientist whose life was destroyed by India’s ‘secular’ govts

This is the heartbreaking image of the GSLV Mk II crashing into the Bay of Bengal on April 15, 2010, taking with it the nation’s hope of a true heavy lifting rocket.

Untitled.png

At the heart of the disaster was the failure of the indigenous cryogenic engine. A cryogenic engine is the most powerful kind of rocket engine, which is the only way to put heavy satellites into orbit. This is the technology that helped the Americans reach the moon. Without mastering the cryogenic engine, there is no way that India could enter the big leagues of the global space club.

Of course, nobody in the world would be willing to just give us this technology. We would have to figure it out on our own.

What if I were to tell you that decades ago, we had one such extraordinary scientist who was working on the indigenous cryogenic engine? And that he was taken off the job, labelled a traitor and his life destroyed by our ‘secular’ governments?

Would you ever be able to forgive them?

Meet Nambi Narayanan, who was awarded the Padma Bhushan yesterday.

Untitled.png

Scientist. Patriot. Genius.

Remember the PSLV, which powered the Mangalyaan in 2014 and planted the Indian flag on Mars?  The PSLV which powered Chandrayaan in 2008 and confirmed for all humanity that there is definitely water ice on the moon? All nations of the world, you are very welcome.

The PSLV has always made us proud. The PSLV rocket runs on the indigenous “Vikas engine” and Nambi Narayanan was instrumental in building it.

In the 1990s, Nambi Narayanan was one of India’s top scientists, working on the indigenous cryogenic engine. Earlier, India had tried to buy some of this technology from the Russians, but the Americans fought tooth and nail and blocked it. As I said, those who have this technology will guard it jealously. We are on our own.

Then, it all happened.

In 1994, Nambi Narayanan was suddenly accused of being a spy and leaking sensitive rocket information to foreign agents. He was arrested and thrown into jail. His career was over.

And with Nambi Narayanan’s arrest in 1994, India’s dream of building an indigenous cryogenic engine was set back by decades. As late as 2010, India was still struggling to pick up the pieces and complete that cryogenic engine.

Success in building that cryogenic engine finally came in January 2014.

Who will pay India back for those 20 years between 1994 and 2014? Not Indian ‘secularism’, I assure you.

As Nambi Narayanan’s case made it to court, the wheels of justice began to turn. The CBI admitted that the IB had simply cooked up the case.

Untitled.png

The same 1998 Outlook article also tells us what the CBI said in its report on June 3, 1996.

Untitled.png

“Arrest of six innocent persons, thereby causing them immense mental and physical agony”

What an injustice!

Wait, there’s more.

Notice that name: R B Sreekumar who, as per the Outlook article, was categorically indicted for failing in duty to conduct the inquiry in an objective and fair manner?

Now, where else have I heard about R B Sreekumar?

Untitled.png

Ah! Remembered. It turns out that R B Sreekumar is quite a famous man, reputed for his pursuit of justice.

Here’s more.

Untitled.png

And of course:

Untitled.png

Over the course of his illustrious career, R B Sreekumar has won many hearts, many awards and numerous distinctions. Here is one wonderful memory from this photograph published in The Hindu on April 24, 2008.

Untitled.png

On the left is a beaming R B Sreekumar receiving the Award for “Best Malayali Police Officer”. The man presenting him with the award is then State Secretary of the CPI(M) Pinarayi Vijayan, who is now the Chief Minister of Kerala. In the centre, you see “human rights activist” Teesta Setalvad, who is all smiles.

Ecosystem, in a nutshell.

Don’t get too angry at just the CPIM and Pinarayi Vijayan. In 2011, Congress Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, then just 43 days into office, dropped all charges against police officials who had been accused of misconduct in the Nambi Narayanan case.

Untitled.png

Police officer Siby Mathews, whose team had come out with the espionage theory, rose to become the Chief Information Commissioner of Kerala. Of course, he did.

This is the sinister soup of Indian ‘secularism’.

Meanwhile, Nambi Narayanan was still fighting for his dignity and a bit of justice.

Untitled.png

Finally! In Sept 2018! The Supreme Court awarded him Rs 50 lakh compensation. And it also created a Committee headed by Justice D K Jain to inquire into the role of Kerala Police Officers. This second part of the Supreme Court decision, the part about digging out what Kerala Police officers might have done, did not receive much coverage in media headlines. For reasons of Indian ‘secularism’, of course.

Sometime in early 2016, the Modi government cracked down on some student union malcontents at JNU. Those “dissenters” became household names, celebrity free speech activists, addressing packed crowds of ‘liberals’ in the city after city. A group of otherwise unemployable “students”, sitting out their degree programs in something or another at JNU for long years on taxpayer money.

In comparison, how many people know this story of Nambi Narayanan, the man whose career and life was crushed under the weight of Indian secularism? His fault is that he was building rocket engines for India and not raising slogans of “Bharat ke tukde“. So Indian ‘secularism’ finished him.

Oh, and did I mention that Nambi Narayanan took just 10 months to finish his degree from Princeton? Just 10 months? JNU’s celebrity students must have spent more than 10 months in TV studios alone, bragging about all the intellectual thinking they are doing on our behalf.

But Indian ‘secularism’ finished Nambi Narayanan. It took India 20 more years to build the cryogenic engine he was working on.

It’s Republic Day, a moment to celebrate the “Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic of India” as it says at the beginning of the Constitution. The words “socialist” and “secular” were inserted by Indira Gandhi at the time of the Emergency. They say that the truth will set you free, but first, it will piss you off.

‘Timing of the award might be misconstrued’: CM Naveen Patnaik’s sister, Gita Mehta, declines Padma award

New York-based author and Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s sister Gita Mehta has declined to accept the prestigious Padma Shri award that the Narendra Modi led government had conferred on her claiming that the timing of the award just months before elections may be “misconstrued”.

According to the reports, Gita Mehta in a statement has said that accepting the award at this time will embarrass both her and the government. “I am deeply honoured that the Government of India should think me worthy of a Padma Shri but with great regret I feel I must decline as there is a general election looming and the timing of the award might be misconstrued, causing embarrassment both to the Government and myself, which I would much regret,” the statement said.

The NDA government had conferred Padma Shri to Gita Mehta in the ‘Foreigners’ category for her distinguished work in Art & Literature.

A News18 report claims that Gita Mehta and her husband Sonny Mehta had met Prime Minister Modi recently in an unusual 90-minute long meeting setting speculations that it was an attempt by the BJP to draw Biju Janata Dal and its supremo Naveen Patnaik to the NDA fold before the general elections.

On the eve of Republic Day celebrations, the Union government announced the decision of conferring Padma Awards to 112 people for their ‘exceptional and distinguished service in various fields such as art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc.

Padma Awards are one of the highest civilian awards of the country. Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri are the three categories of awards bestowed upon the individuals for their outstanding service to the nation. This year 4 Padma Vibhushan, 14 Padma Bhushan and 94 Padma Shri Awards will be awarded, out of which 21 of the awardees are women.

The government of India also announced that the highest civilian award of the country, Bharat Ratna will be conferred on three persons, two of them posthumously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Nanaji Deshmukh, Bhupen Hazarika and former President Pranab Mukherjee have been conferred with Bharat Ratna.

All you need to know about Republic day 2019: An occasion of many firsts

The 26th of January, 2019, will mark India’s 70th Republic Day celebrations. The momentous occasion will be one of many firsts as well.

One of the most prominent ones would be the fact that for the first time in history, the ‘Shankhnaad‘ will be played instead of the British martial tune that has been the traditions until now. The first original tune of Independent India is based on Indian Classical music and is a combination of three Ragas–Raag Bilaskhani Todi, Raag Bhairavi and Raag Kirvani.

The tune is the composition of Dr Tanuja Nafade and is based on a poem by Brig. Vivek Sohal. Apart from the Shankhnaad, four veterans from the Indian National Army, aged over 90, will participate in the Parade for the first time.

The Parade will also witness the capabilities of our country’s ‘Nari Shakti’. “This Republic Day parade will also be an amazing display of ‘Nari Shakti’ (women power), as many contingents will be led by women, besides an all-women contingent of the Assam Rifles,” Maj Gen Rajpal Punia, Chief of Staff, HQ Delhi Area stated. He added that the parade will witness the largest participation by women thus far.

Artillery gun system M777 American Ultra Light Howitzers which was recently acquired from the USA and K9 Vajra, a self-propelled artillery gun will feature in the Parade as new additions as well.

58 tribal guests from various parts of the country have been invited to perform at the celebrations this year. School children will also perform at the event. President Ram Nath Kovind will make his second Republic Day address this year. As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, he will take the salute during the parade.

The CISF’s Tableaux will feature Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s Samadhi. A number of other Tableaux will revolve around the life and work of Gandhi as well. Punjab’s Tableaux will be themed on the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919. Some of them will integrate folk dances. The IAF Tableaux will be themed on ‘Indian Air Force: Safeguarding Indian Skies’.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will be the Chief Guest at the event. He will be accompanied by First Lady Dr Tshepo Motsepe, and a high-level delegation including nine ministers, senior officials, and a 50-member business contingent.

BJP questions Rahul Gandhi for keeping his meeting with Chinese ministers during his Kailash Mansarovar visit a secret

Addressing a rally in Bhubneshwar, Congress President Rahul Gandhi accidentally blew the lid on himself when he said that he had met some Chinese officials during his visit to Kailash Mansarovar in September last year. Attacking the Modi government during the rally on job creation, Gandhi said, “When I went to Kailash, I met a couple of their (Chinese) ministers. They told me they have plenty of jobs. Job is not a problem there. Automation is a problem in Europe and India but it is not a problem in China. Why automation is not creating a problem for China.”

The statement was soon picked up by the BJP which accused Gandhi of using the pilgrimage for holding secret talks with the Chinese ministers. “We want to know from the Congress what transpired between Rahul Gandhi and the Chinese ministers. Why the protocol (of informing the Ministry of External Affairs) was not followed for the meeting?”, questioned BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra in a press conference.

Patra revealed that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had received a letter from a Chinese Ambassador who wanted to give Rahul Gandhi a ceremonial see off when he visited Kailash Mansarovar. “When Rahul Gandhi went for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, a letter was sent by the Chinese ambassador to the MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) that he wanted to give him a ceremonial see him off. This protocol is limited to the heads of the state or the Leader of Opposition,” said Patra.

Alleging a tacit understanding between Rahul Gandhi and China, Patra said, “Now it is clear why China wanted to extend this protocol to Rahul Gandhi. Yatra was just an excuse, he had to meet Chinese ministers and discuss something. The cat is out of the bag today. He had to go to Beijing…The BJP had back then asked Rahul Gandhi to clarify which Chinese minister he was planning to meet in Beijing. The Congress had then said that Rahul Gandhi would not meet any Chinese minister as it was a personal religious tour.”

The BJP spokesperson raised questions on the Congress President for not informing the MEA about his meeting. “Why did not he inform this to the Ministry of External Affairs? Why was the Indian embassy kept out of the loop? What he had to discreetly discuss with the Chinese ministers that Rahul Gandhi did not keep the MEA in loop”.

Patra reminded that the Congress President had also met the Chinese envoy in India during the Doklam standoff and had initially denied it.

Sadanandan Master, the ex-communist who had to pay the price of shifting to the RSS ideology

25 years ago today a bone-chilling incident that took place in Kerala exposed the bestiality of the Communist cadres of Kerala. On January 25, 1994, Sadanandan Master was returning from his uncle’s house in the evening after discussing the arrangements for his sister’s wedding which was to take place on February 6. As he got down from the bus and started walking towards his home, some people grabbed him from behind pinned him to the ground and started beating him. They were CPI(M) goons who not only brutally beat him up but also chopped off both his legs. All this happened because Sadanandan Master no longer agreed with the Communist ideology and had shifted to the RSS ideology. This was a warning to all those who might be thinking of leaving the Communist fold.

Sadanandan was 30 when this horrific incident happened. He was a teacher at the government-aided Kuzhikkal Lower Primary School at Perinchery, Mattanur municipality. He came from a family of communists. His father was an active member of the CPM. His elder brother was the in-charge of the student wing at the Zilla level. Sadanandan himself was an active member of the Student Federation of India (SFI) till 1984.

Sadanandan Master. Source: Rediff.com

Sadanandan’s inclination towards the ideology of the Sangh was not a sudden shift. He tells that he was actively involved in Sangh activities till school days. During his graduation days, he was drawn to the Communist ideology but the RSS’ idea of cultural nationalism still resonated with him. Malayalam poet Akkitham’s article ‘Bharata Dharshanangal’ had a great influence on Sadanandan and it caused his complete shift to the Sangh ideology.

But this did not go down well with the Communists who first tried to persuade him and then resorted to their usual violent ways. In 2016, Sadanandan contested the assembly election on BJP ticket from Koothuparamba constituency which is infamous for political murders against the LDF leader K K Shailja. Back then Prime Minister Narendra Modi had saluted the courage of Sadanandan and other BJP and RSS members who faced the violence of Communists in Kerala.

The communist violence in God’s own country has not come down till date. Ideological intolerance persists in the politics of Kerala. The killing of BJP/RSS members has only risen since the communist government came to power in the State.

1. ‘The movie is not stuck, the makers are’: CBFC member Vivek Agnihotri explains how The Wire twisted facts around ‘No fathers in Kashmir’

Leftist propaganda website, The Wire, in a story, headlined “This Film on Kashmir Sought CBFC Clearance 6 Months Ago – and Is Still Waiting” asserted that while the censor board, CBFC, has claimed that it has accorded the movie ‘No fathers in Kashmir’ with an A certification, the director of the movie claims that the CBFC has, in essence, banned the movie.

OpIndia.com reached out to Agnihotri to understand what trouble was the movie running into.

Vivek said that the movie has substantial Jihadi propaganda and anti-Army, anti-India rhetoric and several people throughout the certification of the movie wanted several cuts. Agnihotri said that if the director wanted, he could release the movie even tonight with the A certification.

3. Another PM aspirant? Posters of ‘Akhilesh for PM’ seen in Lucknow

The political impact of the proposed ‘Mahagathbandhan’ or grand alliance of opposition parties in the upcoming general elections is still obscure, however, it has definitely given way for the several opposition leaders to aspire to be the country’s next Prime Minister.

Reportedly, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav seems to have also thrown his hat in the possible contest of being the Prime Minister candidate of the Mahagathbandhan as posters have already propped up in Uttar Pradesh to position SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav as the prime ministerial candidate of the grand alliance which intends to fight the incumbent BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

4. Only Citizenship Amendment Bill can save Assam from becoming another Jammu and Kashmir: Himanta Biswa Sarma

The Architect of Bhartiya Janta Party’s rise in north-east and Assam’s state finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that only way to stop Assam from becoming like Jammu and Kashmir is Citizenship Amendment Bill along with enforcement of clause 6 of Assam Accords and ST Status to six tribal communities.

Asserting that the state is witnessing a major demographic shift, he added that for Assam the bill is like the ‘Last Battle of Panipat’.

He also said that people who are responsible for bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir should not be sermonising him on the issue of secularism. “We are committed to protecting Jati, Mati, Bheti (Identity, land and homeland)” He added.

5. Rahul Gandhi lies: This time about hate mongering

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has lied again. This time, however, it is not about his favourite topic, Rafale, but about another one of Congress legacies: hate mongering. While addressing a public gathering in Amethi yesterday, Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Modi indulges in spreading hatred. He insinuated that PM Modi has been directly responsible for making different sections of people fight each other.

Since Congress President seems to be suffering from memory loss, here is a friendly reminder on who actually is spreading hate.

6. Pro-Congress troll Abhishek Mishra posted communally charged posts on Internet to earn money

Pro-Congress troll Abhishek Mishra, who has been recently arrested by Delhi Police for offensive posts which hurt religious sentiments has reportedly revealed that he used to earn money by posting communally sensitive posts to earn money. However, he has claimed that he does not know the source of such income.

As reported by The Times of India, Mishra has been thrown out of his house by his parents following which he took to making communally charged posts to earn money. 10 laptops have been seized from him and police believe more people could be involved in it. The police are also verifying the IDs with which he took the Internet connections as well as the SIM cards for his phone which was used to run his profile. Reportedly, both the IDs were found to be of someone else’s.

7. Nidhi Razdan of NDTV twists Piyush Goyal’s statement to claim Railways failed in fulfilling jobs creation promise

NDTV’s Nidhi Razdan last night conducted a debate claiming government’s jobs promises remain unfulfilled, especially, with a focus on a statement by Piyush Goyal regarding Railway ‘ecosystem’. She had claimed that last year Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal had said that the railways could create 10 lakh jobs in one year whereas he now puts the figure at 2.5 lakhs.

However, what Nidhi has conveniently chosen to not tell her viewers is that her claims on Piyush Goyal’s statement from a year back are partial. Piyush Goyal in his October 2017 statement had said that the ‘Rail ecosystem’ can create 10 lakh jobs a year and even that, was twisted by Nidhi.

8. Fact-check: Rahul Gandhi lies yet again, this time about MGNREGA

On the occasion of addressing a Congress rally in Odisha, Congress President Rahul Gandhi made a series of unfounded allegations to mount his attack on the Modi government. In one of the allegations levelled by Rahul Gandhi, he claimed that the Modi government is destroying NREGA. But contrary to what Rahul Gandhi would have us believe, Modi government has, in fact, strengthened the MGNREGA scheme.

9. Rahul Gandhi accidentally reveals he had a secret meeting with Chinese ministers during his Kailash visit

During the much-published visit of Rahul Gandhi to Kailash Mansarovar in September last year, he had a meeting with a couple of Chinese ministers. And this sensational revelation has come from Rahul Gandhi himself, not from any other source.

While talking about job loss due to automation, Rahul Gandhi said that he had met Chinese ministers during his visit to Kailash Mansarovar. Rahul Gandhi made these comments while addressing a town hall meet titled Reimagining India in Bhubaneswar today.

10. OpIndia investigates: How true is Congress claim that no planes are available for charter because BJP booked them all

Recently, the Congress party claimed that 2019 was a fight of the unequal. It claimed that BJP had booked all available chartered planes for 2019 and that Congress was not struggling.

We decided to get to the bottom of the issue by trying to hire a chartered plane ourselves. Of course, we wouldn’t really have the funds to go through with it, but we did attempt to take a quotation for the same. We found thatchartered aircrafts are available and any claim to the contrary is certainly either a figment of the imagination or a bold lie.

Bharat Ratna to be conferred on Nanaji Deshmukh, Bhupen Hazarika and Pranab Mukherjee

0

Today the government of India announced that the highest civilian award of the country, Bharat Ratna will be conferred on three persons, two of them posthumously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Nanaji Deshmukh, Bhupen Hazarika and former President Pranab Mukherjee have been conferred with Bharat Ratna.
