The Indian cricket team is playing Bangladesh at Kanpur during the ongoing test series between the two nations. In the first test in Chennai, India vanquished the Bangladesh cricket team thanks to a valiant batting effort by local hero, R Ashwin, who racked up his 15th test century and later did his magic with the ball to claim a five-wicket haul and help wrap up the Bangladeshi innings.
Earlier today, members of the Hindu advocacy group VHP demonstrated against the scheduling of the cricket match in Kanpur in the wake of ongoing attacks against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh.
