Many air passengers took to Twitter to register their complaints against Go First on Monday after Flight G8-116 took off for Delhi from Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport around 6.30 am, while about 55 passengers were kept waiting in one of the buses as the flight took off.
Both passengers have been arrested at the airport police station for being in an inebriated state. Patna Airport SHO Robert Peter said that the police took action after the manager of Indigo filed a written complaint against the accused.
"Siddharth’s allegations are false. The footage from his arrival at the airport to his departure has been recorded on the CCTV camera”, the official said.
Siddharth was also upset that his parents had to remove coins from their purses, something that is a security norm at airports to further cry harassment.
Digi Yatra is currently functional at three airports in the country: Delhi, Bengaluru and Varanasi. Four more airports are to be added in the first phase.
According to the traditional practice, the processional idols of the temple deities are carried to the sea behind the airport for a holy dip twice a year in a ceremonial march.
