A local court in Ajmer took cognisance of the Dargah case and issued notices to the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Dargah Committee, and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
"Anyone can go to the court, but a decision can be made only after hearings and evidence production. Anyone can do this (file a petition) for cheap publicity," Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan said. He further indicated that the Dargah and places of worship belonging to specific religions were deliberately being targeted.
On Sambhal violence, he said, "The Administration is one hundred per cent guilty in Sambhal incident. The day a neutral investigation is conducted, many senior officials will go to jail." Today again I have given notice in the House on the Sambhal issue."
