The video of the incident had gone viral after which Superintendent of Police Anoop Kumar Singh filed a complaint and detained several persons involved.

Superintendent of Police Anoop Kumar Singh said, "A video has been brought to over notice via social media under Musafirkhana Police Station. Persons appearing in the video have been detained for questioning. An FIR has been registered in the matter. Investigation is underway. Appropriate action will be taken in the matter."
