Amritpal Singh on the run

All leaves of Punjab Police have been cancelled until April 14, amid speculations that Amritpal Singh may surrender at a Gurudwara.

On April 5, reports suggested the Police confirmed that the Gurudwara jathedar allegedly helped the fugitive pro-Khalistani preacher.

The security personnel have reached the Gurudwara amid an ongoing search for fugitive pro-Khalistani separatist leader Amritpal Singh and one of his mentors, Papalpreet Singh.

Papalpreet Singh, a key aide of Amritpal Singh, was spotted walking in a compound of Gurdwara Sahib in Hoshiarpur.

Lok Sabha MP and separatist leader Simranjit Singh Mann stated that Amritpal Singh should escape to Pakistan.

Recently, Amritpal Singh released his first video since the Punjab police crackdown against him.

Pro-Khalistan separatist leader Amritpal Singh has been on the run since Punjab Police crackdown on him on March 18.

In the video, Sarabjeet said, "I will personally give Rs 1 crore to anyone who is working in Punjab Government, Punjab Administration, Punjab Police, Indian administration or someone else, who gives me information about the whereabouts of Bhai Amritpal Singh with proof."

Pro-Khalistan separatist voices have often resorted to insulting Hindu gods and goddesses, which is often the modus operandi of Islamist terrorists.

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh also criticised the Punjab Police's inability to arrest the pro-Khalistani fugitive despite having such large police force.
