In a latest interview to India Today, Sikh separatist leader and current chief of 'Waris Punjab De,' Amritpal Singh has said, that his organization wants to create Khalistan in India first.

Speaking at the fifth Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, CM Bhagwant Mann claimed that the state of Punjab has the right environment and peaceful atmosphere to set up factories and plants here.

"They have given enough proof that he (detained Lovepreet Toofan) is innocent. SIT has taken cognizance of it. These people will peacefully disperse now and the law will take its own course," Commissioner of Police Amritsar added.

Pro-Khalistani Sikh leader Amritpal Singh called every Hindu, Sikh and Muslim supporting the Indian government his enemy.

Amritpal Singh has claimed that putting up chairs inside holy shrines is against "Maryada", or the dignity of Sikhism.

Soon after Deep Sidhu's demise in a road accident, in an official announcement, the organisation said that Amritpal Singh would henceforth manage it.

Amritpal, who is currently on a 'Khalsa vaheer' march across Punjab right now to spread his message, is not the first one to say that India didn't exist before 1947.
